Greetings Sorors (it feels SOOOO good to say that) and sisterfriends,
I wanted you all to know that I became a member of the first and finest sorority on Sunday October 29...I am only a few hours old

and I'm still trying to take it all in. I feel so very blessed to be a part of this beautiful sisterhood and now I am ready to get to the business at hand and continue the hard work of all my sorors that paved the way for me. Thanks for everyone's support and kind words when I was posting on this board as an interest, especially Soror LadyAKA who has been my rock (Love ya girl!)
Well, the next thing I'm going to do is change my username, which seems VERY inappropriate to me now. I have to think of a new name, and I'll get back to you.

Ladies I wanted to let Soror Sexy Mocha introduce herself and tell her story before I came in here acting like a proud parent!!
Soror Mocha is the first Lady that I have pinned and it was very special and a moment to be revered. I am very proud of her and I am sure she will uphold all the values of our illustrious organization. She has a great bunch of roots at her chapter, including many Sorors I know very well! So with that said she is in good hands.

And she was "Iron Mike" Broken finger nails and all - no she did not bite any ears :-) LOL

Soror Mocha, as I said the other day, gurl, I got your back we are sisters now in a new light. I will be there through thick and thin. Many people will start to give you unsolicited information, but just do what is in your heart. And once this all sinks in get ready for your first chapter meeting, the TEST really begins now...

Awww, please do not make me cry.....I am so emotional right now, I don't know what to do. Thank you all SO very much! I just wanted everyone to know that (like all my sorors) Soror LadyAKA is such a beautiful and sweet person. I am so happy you made it and you were there to pin me.
I am SO eager now, I'm ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work!
Sorors and sisterfriends, of all the wonderful things I have learned...the two that stick out the most is 1) Discretion, Discretion, Discretion and 2) knowing to respect ALL members of Black Greek Letter Organizations because EVERYONE who has crosed before me (regardless of the organization) has paved the way for me and for that I am forever greatful.
Oh God, I don't want to start crying here....
I am just so happy...I think I'll SKEEEWEEEEE for the rest of the day
