Hello to all my beautiful Chi O's out there....I've been missing the past few months since I was in the middle of moving into a new house and all. But with rush coming up I wanted to wish all the chapters good luck!!!!!! I'm sure everyone will be amazing. I disaffiliated for rush and I'm now a Rho Gamma....it's harder than I thought, especially when Chi omega is part of your life everday and it can't be anymore! Good Luck

How was Recruitment and being a Rho Chi?

I never thought being away from my chapter would be this hard. Luckily my roommate and pledge sister did it, so we've gotten to be EXTREMELY close....you never realize that Chi Omega is a HUGE part of your life every single day, I've come to realize that these girls are my home, family, and what I depend on....However, on a sadder note, our recruitment has been cancelled due to Hurrican Isabel I can't stand it. Panhellenic and our Recruitment team is having a roundtable tonight to figure out what are options are. We can either hold rush in 2 to 3 weeks at an alternative location since campus rooms are all booked up or have formal rush next semester, and allow informal in it's place right now.......I would be handing my beautiful group their bids right now and getting ready to reveal myself Please keep your fingers crossed for our council tonight...this could be a bad situation, and I can't stand to be away from my chapter any longer! I'll let u all know how it turns out

When I was back at UCF, my big was a rho chi. It was pretty hard for her to dissafiliate, as I am sure it would be for anyone. The rho chis stayed at a hotel, off campus, and the only times we got to see them were brief glimpses in between parties - and we had to act like we didn't know them! I am sure it'll be a good experience for you. Good luck!! : )

well after a four hour long panhellenic meeting to discuss how to fix isabel's wrath here's the decision: the rho gamma's spend this week until thursday recruiting more ladies. Thursday we have an orientation session and then a Rho Gamma revealing so that we're gettin' a little love after "taking one for the team" for 8 weeks. Sunday will be a round of first parties, a no frills meet and greet for all PNM's. The following week will follow an informal recruitment schedule with events up to the individual chapters and bid lists are due the following monday!!! So it's a little better than we all expected, but still, the thought of having to face my sisters for the next 4 days together, hurts even more
