From the Church to the Charts

i was watching MTV2 today and this show came on. it was about how gospel music has inspired all types of music. they had interviews with destiny's child, ginuwine, pharell, kim burrell, kelly clarkson, faith evans, monica and some more. even the rock group p.o.d.

it was a very good little doc. but there were 2 things i didn't like: 1. they referred to the church as training ground for singers. church is church and it's purpose is praise, worship and learning--not amateur night.

2. lala narrated it. i reeeeeallllllly hate her voice.

it comes on again tonight at 11:30 (central) if anyone wants to watch it

I will be watching this! Thanks! Church is NOT suppose to be the training grounds for singers. But unfortunately, that's how it happens.
