We're all on pins and needles! I was up half the night (knowing I have an early appointment this morning)trying to see who won! To quote someone from another forum.."Let's pray Gore into the White house"

Have you seen Bush in the news? He seems sooo cocky!

I stayed up late watching the election too. I got so frustrated that I had to turn it off!! They still have 5,000 absentee ballots to count in Florida to determine the winner!!! Maybe the electoral college will elect Gore anyway. http://www.cnn.com/2000/ALLPOLITICS/...ege/index.html

I agree 100% with exquizit, Florida is BUSH town and we need to PRAY GORE IN!!! As I said before the winning vote will be from the lord ....let pray together. I can't believe how stressed and tense I am from this. My heart has not stopped doing double time since Florida was taken back from Gore and then when he almost conceded, talk about broke hearts and crying, Lord have mercy on me!!!

Have you guys heard about the ballot box that wasn't picked up in Florida? It was in a church whose congregation was mainly african american and Western Indian. How can you forget a thing as important as a ballot box. The teacher who found it said it was still padlocked and seemed full. Jeb Bush, (in my best Ricky Ricardo impersonation) You got some 'splaining to do!

Gee wilickers! I can't stand all of this!! I'm so sick of everyone repeating the same thing over and over! I want real answers! Our future is at risk for the next 4 years! Can you guys just imagine just how things will change after having 8 years of progress?

As an ammature political junky, I cannot concentrate on anything! By the way, I find it a litle odd that all of the trouble of these electoral votes boils down to a state where George Bush's brother is Governor. And Bush just knows that he is going to win? Too strange.

I'm not meaning to jump the gun but, I find it a little odd. And what is with the senior citizens accidently voting for Buchanan instead of Gore because of confusing ballots. Things that make you say Hummmmm?

I am seriously worried about this election. I have been holding my breath since yesterday. It didn't help that the white students on my campus were wearing "Bush/Cheney" t-shirts.

If Bush wins (heaven forbid) being the Republican that he is:

we will have a recession due to Republicans' "peculiar" tax cuts (pray you'll keep your job)
bye-bye affirmative action
he says that SS will be kept in tact, hmmm how so? there are more old people than young people to support the old people and the young people are getting a tax cut. i'm confused.
his military projections were too vague.
Didn't mean to get political on you all, but this is bothering me. Our lives will be affected for the next 4 years...and some analysts say that this President may impact our lives for the next 50+ years!!!
