The first day is over!
Wow! today was so exhausting! Ok, i got to go to 8 houses today and my throat hurts so much from talking forever, but I'll be okay! So I will tell you guys about how these 8 went and tell you the rest tomorrow so that I don't overwhelm you guys with 16 descriptions tomorrow!
So I came up with this cute candy bar code for the houses so here it goes:
Mr Goodbar: this was the first house that I visited and our R.C.'s made us count down the seconds then when we got to zero they knocked on the door and all these girls pop out bouncing and singing their chant it was soooo cute! I never expected this but it was cool. I also got along with these girls so well, they were all really really nice and so easy to talk to. This is one of my favorites so far.
Starburst: This house was ok. The girls were nice but it wasn't as great at the 1st house. I really don't remember much about it but the girls had really cute outfits and they were pretty cool.
M&M's: I also loved this house they were sooooo sweet and the were all so cute! I had really good conversation with these girls and this one is also one of my favorites.
3 Musketeers: This house didn't really make me feel comfortable. I just didn't feel like I connected with the 3 girls I talked to there, I can't really picture my self there but you never know how things will be later on in the week.
Snickers: I felt really uncomfortable at this house too, the were nice of couse however they just didn't seem like the type of girls that I could picture myself living with for 4 years.
Almond Joy: This was the last house before our dinner break so i was pretty drained out by this time but i kept myself together because i didn't want to seem rude like i didn't want to be there or anything. Anyway, these girls were also really nice, i don't know exactly how i feel about them, i could go either way so I think I will definately have to wait and see how things go later on in the week before i make a decision about them.
Jolly Rancher: This was the first house after dinner so I felt nice and refreshed for it. This house was a lot like the last one, I really liked them but just not as much as some of the others, but more than a couple of them too.
Reeses: This was the last house of the night and I loved them!! The girl that was rushing me the whole time was so sweet and we had such a good conversation! I definately like this one the best so far!!
So that's about it. All in all it was a really good day and i had so much fun! I can't wait to go back tomorrow and meet the other 8! So I will give another update tomorrow night!

Woo hoo!
I can't wait to hear about the next few houses.
I have an old coworker in one of the houses (KD)

Kara,
I'm glad your day went so well! You have a really positive outlook, which will be so helpful to you when it comes to finding your home.
As for moving this thread into the original rush thread, I'm not sure of the best way to do it, but you could always either copy and paste what you've written in this thread into the other one and then delete this thread or you can just post a link from one thread to the other.
Good luck and have fun tomorrow!

Glad to hear you had a great time today!
You could ask one of the fabulous Rush mods to merge the first thread into this one [or vice versa]...if they haven't already seen your request, of course! It should be a problem!
