How to Make a Girl Happy
- Bring her cut flowers as a surprise as well as on special occasions.
- Plan a date several days in advance, rather than waiting for Friday
night and asking her what she wants to do.
- Compliment her on how she looks.
- When you are going to be late, call her and let her know.
- Whenever you need to pull away, let her know you will be back or that
you need some time to think about things.
- When you've cooled off and you come back, talk about what was
bothering you in a respectful, nonblaming way, so she doesn't imagine the
worst.
- Give her four hugs/kisses a day.
- Call her from work to ask how she is or to share something exciting or
to tell her "I love you."
- When you are out of town, call to leave a telephone number where you
can be reached and to let her know you arrived safely.
- Offer to give her a back or neck or foot massage (or all three).
- Make a point of cuddling or being affectionate sometimes without being
sexual.
- Display affection in public.
- When holding hands don't let your hand go limp.
- Create occasions when you both can dress up.
- Let her see that you carry a picture of her in your wallet and update
it from time to time.
- Write a note or make a sign on special occasions such as anniversaries
and birthdays.
- Notice how she is feeling and comment on it-"You look happy today" or
"You look tired"-and then ask a question like "How was your day?"
- Take her dancing or take dancing lessons together.
- Surprise her with a love note or poem.
- Treat her in ways you did at the beginning of the relationship.
- Open the door for her.
- Touch her with your hand sometimes when you talk to her.
- Show interest in what she does during the day, in the books she reads
and the people she relates to.
- Ask her how she is feeling.
- Give her a kiss and say good-bye when you leave.
- Laugh at her jokes and humor.
- Create special time to be alone together.
- Organize and prepare a picnic. (Remember to bring a picnic cloth)
- Let her know that you missed her when you went away or she went away.
- Tell her "I love you" often.

Good suggestions - I've done all of them...
However, for some reason, this reminds me of the joke being told by Ron White, stand up comedian....regarding women's favorite item: diamonds.
"DeBeers had a slogan - take her breath away. Their new slogan is 'Diamonds - render her speechless!'. Why don't they just go ahead and say it: 'Diamonds: that'll shut her up!'"
Don't know why, but reading that list, it just popped in there....
Just a reminder - I'm just passing it along, these aren't MY words.

LOL, that sounds like my dad. My mom whines for a new piece of jewelry, and after a few months, here's another flashy emerald. The best was when she wanted a new car: she wanted the Mazda Tribute as soon as she saw the commericals, and would run around the house singing "Zoom zoom zoom..." and turn up the TV when commericals came on. She got one like a month after they came out.

Really, there's no need to make such an extensive list...only two items would suffice...
a) Do what she says
b) Give her what she wants

In reference to the DeBeers commercial -- at Christmas time, Kay Jewelers ran an ad for their 3-diamond drop necklace... anyone see it?
It was a man and you just see him and he says something like "I'll show you what I got mommy if you promise to keep it a secret" and then you see the necklace and he is holding it over a crib and the baby is looking at it. Then the announcer says:
"What do you give the woman who brought you from being a boy to being a daddy?"
I was like IN TEARS all over the place -- Mr. AXO Alum was rolling his eyes saying "thank you VERY much Kay Jewelers for making me look like an a$$ when I don't show up with one of those on Christmas" -- it was funny!
But totally sweet commercial And sweet list too!
