I DO FIND MYSELF RESPONDING DIFFERENTLY. HERE, THE ATMOSPHERE IS MUCH DIFFERENT. IT SEEMS TO ME THERE ARE MORE MATURE PEOPLE HERE( NOT ALL THE TIME)! HERE, I AM ABLE TO CORRESPOND MORE WITH MY SORORS. MOST OF THE SORORS HERE ARE LIKE ME, OLDER AND OUT IN THE WORKPLACE.

NOW OVER THERE, IT IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT THING. THERE, I HAVE TO TELL IT LIKE IT IS. IF YOU SAW SOME OF THE POSTS THAT WERE IN HERE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE MONTH THAT SOROR AKATUDE DELETED...A LITTLE SW91 CAME OUT IN ME!

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT I WAS "TRAINED" TO ACT IN MANY WAYS. GIVEN THE SITUATION, THE PERSON, OR THE TIME AND OR PLACE, I CAN BE WHOEVER! I AM MULTI-DIMENSIONAL.

AT THE OTHER FORUM:
MY THING IS, ALPHA KAPPA ALPHA IS VERY DEAR TO ME AND I WILL NOT STAND FOR FOOLISHNESS AT ANYTIME! I WILL SAY WHAT IS ON MY MIND AT ANYTIME! IF IT DEALS WITH THE SORORITY I WILL NOT SUGAR COAT ANYTHING! I AM GOING TO TELL YOU LIKE IT IS! REALITY IS A MOTHA...
SO WHAT I SAY MAYBE HARSH, BUT SOME OF THE PEOPLE THERE HAVE TOO MANY EXCUSES AND EXCUSES ARE NOT GONNA GET IT IF YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO CALL ME SOROR! YA FEEL ME? I AM THERE TO HELP SFs WHO ARE TRYING TO GET WHERE I AM. IF I DON'T SAY SOMETHING THE WAY OTHERS FEEL IT SHOULD BE SAID, THEN WHAT ARE YOU ALL GONNA DO IN FRONT OF, RATHER AROUND MY SORORS?

I figured that it was a "two sides of the same coin situation".

I find myself silently observing on sisternet most of the time. Some of the conversations over there are "over the top".

That was one of the reasons that I started spending so much time on the sisterlyforum. I love the vibe!

Oh yeah, when I do sign on sisternet, I'm known as 2TUDIE.

I just recently started coming on this forum. The first few times that I wandered over here, I saw some really harsh remarks aimed at sisterfriends. That turned me off. I stayed away. When I came back, I saw more positive correspondence, so I stayed.

Ladies, THANK YOU for the welcome. I'd like to comment now to all of the "interests", sisterfriends, etc....that this is proof that the internet is not as "anonymous" as you think.

I'm feeling you AKA2D '91 on the "maturity" level in some of the forums. My interest is on the graduate level; but I enjoy visiting as many sites as possible that are related to my "interest."

I'm also on BlackPlanet (DrewzMom) so have pity in a sista who has zero hits (could be that I haven't put much on my page) and sign my little ole guestbook .
