Membership Question

Okay ladies, I need some super Squirrel sluething!!
Okay this is long, but here it goes:
We had a new member in the fall of 00 (maybe 01) anyway, she went through the entire new member period, passed the new member test and everything. They were supposed to be initiated that December, but had to be held off due to some issues.
She transferred to a small community college near her home and got GREAT grades.
Anyway, she has come back to WKU and has kept in touch with AGDs the entire year she was gone.
Now, she doesn't know how to go about getting back into AGD. Should she COB (She is 22 now!) and go through the ENTIRE NEW MEMBER PERIOD AGAIN??
This girl would be a great asset to AGD. She is the epitome of what Alpha, Gamma and Delta stand for. Our chapter loves her, our alums love her and by darn it if she gets initiated I know I am driving down there to watch every step of it!

Thanks ladies! Sorry this is so long! Any questions please let me know! Seeing as how I was going to be her big sis originally this is near and dear to me, also.

After pledging for 2 straight semesters and going through everything else, and then still wanting to join when she got back, I personally think that she should be allowed to just initiate with the rest of the new members without having to go through COB and a third new member period. I'm no expert and I still don't have a membership handbook (note to self: order a membership handbook), so I can't really answer your question, though. Let us know what happens.

Send a message via AIM to theta sig agd
I would think your PDC would know what to do. I think there are exordinary circumstances she could push things where they need to go.

Good luck!!!! Let us know what happens

And if you're uncomfortable asking your PDC or ACC, why not send an email to Ask The President?

As a reminder, questions about membership/change in membership status should not be discussed here in a public forum or electronically.

Quick update,
She will be initiating into our chapter! Cannot tell you all how happy I am!

I will delete most of the original post. I figured since it didn't directly ask about membership change, only whom to contact it would be okay.
Thanks everyone!
Sarah
