Unhappy I lost one of my students...

One of the little boys that I always taught in vacation Bible school died in a car wreck on Friday. I'm going to visitation in a few minutes to be with his sister, who I was really close to. Me and his family could really use some prayers - I've known this boy since he was born, (he was 16), and his family is such a sweet family. They have a daughter who is about 22, and another 5 or 6 year old daughter with Down's syndrome. This kid was the sweetes boy you could imagine. He was always helping out the older people in the church and was very active at school as well, and he had so many friends. I lost a couple of friends in high school, so I know what they will be facing. It's always so hard when someone so young dies.

Crystal,
My thoughts and my prayers are with you and the boy's family at this difficult time. It's always tough to hear about when a child loses his/her life.

God bless

Crystal, my heart & prayers are with you. What a horrible loss! I'm just glad that you had a chance to be his Sunday School teacher over the years. Please let me know if you need a shoulder to cry on.

Sometimes you wonder why and how God can take such a wonderful life away like that.

But then you take comfort in knowing that God really wanted the boy for Himself and that he's being taken care of by the Almighty now.
