wow, I know someone famous!

Congratulations on your new Grand President!

I've known Emily Tarr for about a year, but didn't didn't know that she was a Pi Phi until I saw the decal on her car. She's a very intelligent, focused, and friendly woman - a great representative for your fraternity.

Emily is also a board member of the Texarkana Museums System, whose crown jewel is an elaborate house in the shape of an ace of clubs. If you are traveling through the area, you should definitely tour it.

The house was deeded to the System by another Pi Phi, Olivia Smith Moore. While touring the house, I noticed several Pi Phi and arrow items in her bedroom and dressing area. She was crazy about shoes (hundreds of Neiman Marcus shoeboxes in the closet), and I read that Pi Phi has a memorial in her honor.

Does anyone know more about this award?

LOL. Now the name of the award makes sense!

The Olivia Smith Moore Silver Slipper award for best chapter treasurer is given to the chapter treasurer who excelled in her office and whose chapter is in sound or improved financial condition.

This international award is presented biannually at our convention. I don't know who won this year as I wasn't at convention and our website only has a partial listing of winners.
