-Pray for guidance on how to be a good steward of what God has blessed me with;
-Pay off my parents' and siblings' debt;
-Get my grandparents' homes fixed up;
-Set up a college trust fund for the young ones in my family;
-Pay off my church's mortgage;
-Fund an endowment for my parents' work with South African students;
-Fund an endowment at my former job, Josephinum High School (a poor, small Catholic high school for urban girls);
-Fund an endowment with the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless, a former client of mine;
-Fund a scholarship/retention endowment at my alma mater for students of color;
-Fund an endowment in both my chapter's foundation and EAF;
-Become a venture capitalist who funds entrepreneurs of color with brillant ideas (and viable business models/plans!);
-Travel, research and explore the cultures of the world
I read somewhere that you should write down all the things you would do if you won the lottery, then find out how you can make at least some of those dreams come true with what you already have at your disposal. I took this to heart and plan on doing all of the things on my list, in one form or another.

Ok, I would set up The Sexy Mocha Scholarship Fund for college students who maintain a high GPA, are active in school events, and can figure out the real cause of the evil that lurks in the minds of all financial aid office employees. I would also develop every vacant lot, space, land, building, into affordable housing so that homeless people would not have to live in the train stations, alleyways, streets, etc. (I would charge $2.00 a month for rent.) I would pay off all the bills/debts of my family and friends...and buy a dream house for my parents and my nana. I would also bomb all the MacDonald and Burger King restaurants, in hope that people would no longer eat themselves to heart disease. I would build a giant dome over New York and air condition it in the summer. last, but not least, I would pay up to twenty million dollars to be "inducted" into the Rock n' Roll hall of fame.

1) Tithe
2) Build my mother a home and keep a private nurse for her on my payroll.
3)Donate $$ towards Alzheimer's research.
4)Invest & save a certain percentage to ensure that it continues to grow so that my blood line will have money when I'm gone.
5)I would also pay off my church's mortgage.
6)Start a scholarship fund at my both of my alma maters (HS & College)
7)Buy a house for my family.
8)Donate $ to Gamma Delta.
9)Open my own business.
10)Be a saint for a day: walk up to/follow a poverty stricken person and find a way to give them a portion without them seeing that I gave it to them. I'd leave a note that says "The Lord has done great things for me, where of, I am glad... be blessed"

Now I feel like my answer is really foolish compared to the well thought out replies by DiscoGoddess and TickledPink (Very nice ladies!) Ok now, my revised answer is:
1) I would donate a large portion of the money to Girl Scout/Boy Scout USA, the Boys and Girls Club of America, the Big Brother/Big Sister programs, and other organizations that are designed to assist children in becoming capable, responsible adults.
2) Set up a research fund for Parkinsons Disease
3) Supply every child in the public/private school system with new school supplies and clothes for each school term
4) Set up scholarship funds and donate millions to various colleges/universities
5) Pay off family and friend's bills/debts
6) Use the money to make life as easy as possible for each and every child in the foster care system
7) Hire a world renown chef, complete with his own personal cooking team, to cater every event/dinner my mother's church has 'cause Lord knows the Mothers of the church work too hard as it is
8) Donate to the Schomberg Center in Harlem so that they can continue their superb work in African American research
There, now I feel much better

1. I would thank God for my financial wealth and pray for more spiritual guidance because people will try my patience with my new found wealth.
2. I would help the people that helped me along the way. My mom would be the first person on the list because she sacrificed a great deal to make me the person that I am today.
3. As previously stated by Tickledpink, I would donate money for Alzheimers research. You never truly understand the extent of the disease and what effect it has on a family until it happens to your loved one.
4. I would give to the church so we can do away with the infamous "Building Fund" envelopes behind every pew.
5. I would give back to my alma mater, Tennessee State University and my high school.
6. I would donate to Dress for Success, a nonprofit organization that helps low income women find jobs and gives them job appropriate clothing to be able to join the workforce.
7. I would start a scholarship fund in the inner city schools for outstanding scholars because oftentimes they are overlooked when it comes to money and they need it just like college prep schools.
8. I would donate money to the after school programs for parents that can't afford to pay.
9. I would start my own business.
10. I would invest a portion of the money.
11.I would pay off all my school debts and personal debts.
12. I would travel all over the world.

Dang Soror DG, how do I respond now
After Thanking the almighty, I guess I would start by quitting my job (yes, i know I should not do that right away) ... but - you just kind of have to
Then I would pay off my and my mom's debt, I would invest the rest.
And after making it all back then do some worldly and godly things with it, but I must also save some for my New Vacation HOME in Hawaii!! And lastly I would hook up with Soror DG I am sure she will help me spend my money in a good way -LOL (I luv you soror).
