Recruitment Counselor
Hi everyone!
I just wanted to share the news that I'm going to be a recruitment counselor for next fall! I'm sooooo excited! Has/is anyone else been/going to be a RC? Do you have any great stories or advise? I can't wait!
PSLAM,
Jess

Hi Ladies! This is the only place I can be a Phi Sig right now.......
Hi everyone. I am a Phi Sig at IU-Southeast. Our formal recruitment is this weekend and I am a Rho Chi, so I needed somewhere to come to talk to Phi Sigs.

Hey I'll be here. I remeber my Rho Chi couldn't talk to any of her sisiters at the time. I can't imagine not talking to any of my sisiters for more than a day.

Update on my Rho Chi experience & our chapter!
Our recruitment this year was SO small and spirits were down, but Epsilon Chi has 4 beautiful new members! Erin, Kristen, Bryce, and Jennifer!!!
We have a C.O.B. this week and have 7 definitely interested ladies!! (If we would get all 7, I do believe we would be the largest on campus!!)
Our Panhell, just gave us our campus C.O.B. list yesterday. There are 30 ladies on the list right now. We are calling them all today to invite them to our C.O.B. It would be so awesome if we would get them ALL, but we are shooting for half. Whew!!!!!!
It is soooooo great to be done with Rho Chi & back with my chapter.

I am a recruitment counselor for the summer and for Fall Recruitment. I miss wearing my letters and talking with my sisters. But it's getting better because I have this site and I can still e-mail my sisters and we can talk to each other on the phone.
But I am really glad that I got to be a Rho-Chi before I graduated.

I'm a rho chi, should I attend summer retreat
I have a problem, which is should I attend my summer retreat which is about 30 miles from school and it's where a lot of people go it's at a lake, because I am rho chi and we are suppose to disaffilate from our sororities until after formal recruitment. We will get fined $300 dollars if we get in trouble and I would also get my sorority in trouble too.
So what should I do?

Dude that Sucks!
Yeah personally, I wouldn't go. Only because it's at a popular place. If you can refrain from being seen, then go for it... But that's highly unlikely, and even though it sucks major ones, it's best that you don't go. Sorry!!!

I have decided not to go. I feel so sad. I feel like I'm missing one of the most important things of the summer. I know that if I was to get caught a fined it would be a nice fine and then people would be mad at me and would blame me for giving them the fine. I'm just doing what's best for the sorority. I just want to cry.
Thanks

Since I did not attend summer retreat it seems as though all my so call sisters seem to be snubbing me. Well you know what I don't need this. I think I might drop out after formal recruitment.

awwwww no dont drop out!! i understand how you feel though, how it seems like theyre snubbing you....i was a rho chi last year and i felt the exact same way...i oculdnt do annnnything cool with mysisters - all i got to do was go to stupid meetings about recruitment every nite :/ lol you probably are experiencing this snubbing feeling thing cause your sisters might not know how to interact with you since its not really allowed...so the best thing they know to do is to not talk to you at all...it totally sucks i know, but as soon as formal recruitment is over and you get to put on those letters and go to bid day and all that great stuff you'll be fine!! *HUGE HUG*
