Walks of Shame
I posted on the "I'm a Sorority Girl" thread and then I came to wonder if any of you out there have any great "Walk of Shame" stories...
I have two really bad ones...
*I had spent the night at a fraternity house (I fell asleep, ok?) and I woke up at like 9 and threw my clothes on, and then as I was pulling my sweater on, I hoped to God I wouldn't run into any of the guys on my way out. I was arranging my hair and thinking I was in the clear...until I reached the stairwell and was faced with a dozen brothers! I tried to be nonchalant about it and just greeted them, "Hey guys! Good morning! What are you doing up so early?" and then flew downstairs. You would think that would be the end of it, but when I reached the front double doors, they wouldn't budge! I struggled with them for at least five minutes, on the verge of tears, when two of the house workers finally strolled up to me and informed me that the doors were jammed and I was gonna have to walk out by the side. So I had to walk through the dining room (where a bunch of guys were having breakfast) and through the kitchen and then through the woods by the side of the house to finally get to my car...ugh...never again, hopefully.
*It was the day after Halloween, and I had crashed with two of my sisters b/c we had all gone to a late night. Anyway, I had to meet one of my other sisters across campus to pick up my car...dressed as a bumblebee! It was 8am and everyone was walking to class, and there I was, with my short black skirt, full bee attire, and black high heels, with a terrible hangover! It was so so embarrassing...if I had not been so nauseous and headachey, perhaps I would've been smarter and borrowed a normal outfit from my sisters.

hahahaha,......Your 'Walks of Shame' cracked me up! I'm still in high school, so no walks of shame yet. But, I'm sure I will experience one before my four years is over. I especially liked the bee story. That must have been some walk too, since UF's campus is pretty big.

hahahha
did the walk of shame this morning. nothing happened, my roomate was having a party and I didnt wanna stay for it, so I went to my friend Julie's to watch a movie and grab dinner. I ended up crashing on her sofa and left this am as she was leavign for work. Just as her next door neighbor was leavign for his job. Funny thing was that he was out yesterday morning when her b/f (a brother of mine) was leaving the apt. I wonder what her neighbor thinks....

I had to stay at the ZTA house one night after my big sister's 21st birthday. We had all come home on a party bus; a cop saw this and decided to park himself outside our house the whole night hoping that one of us would get in his car so that he could pull us over for a DUI. I got up the next day 11am and walked out to my car. I'm outside on a Tuesday afternoon wearing a pair of black pants and a shiny halter top. The Pike house is next door and some of the Pikes that I'm friends with happened to be outside. They spotted me and immediately made the assumption that I must've spent the night at a fraternity house and was walking back to the ZTA house to get my car. I tried to explain the situation to them but with no avail. To this day, whenever we're all in a huge crowd of people, they love bringing up the story of how I am a shacker who walked down Greek Park in my black pants.

Day after Halloween walks of shame are always the worst... a few years ago I did one myself, I'd gone to a party dressed up as a devil in this incredibly tight, short, slinky red dress that I never expected to see the light of day, and super high heels. Well, I ended up "making a friend" and stayed the night at the Phi Mu Alpha house, which happens to be all the way across town from where I lived at the time.
So, about 10:30 the next day (Sunday) I began the walk of shame, and realized, far too late, that I was walking across the street from a church filling up with elderly women, who were clearly gawking at me and thinking I must have been the biggest sl*t on earth

it is usually the grils who do the walk of shame....but i have a story too
i went to a sorority formal this spring. it was last minute so i forgot to get my shift covered at my job (i worked the front desk of my dorm). i got really drunk at the after party at the hotel, and the next morning at 11:00 my date drove me home. i walk into my dorm still in my suite---i slept in it---my hair was all messy, and i was carring a big gift box from my date that had my name, fraternity leters, and "sigma kappa spring formal 2002" on it. my boss was at the front desk with a few people i knew quite well, and was like "hey josh...where were you last night?!"

Aw Josh! That's not so bad. At least when you move into your house you wont have to walk very far from the SK house. The shame will be minimal.

My poor cousin had a faux walk of shame happen-she had taken her bf to her formal one night and he left his car at his house. They stayed somewhere that night-don't really remember, but the next day, they get up early and she takes him home early, b/c his parents are coming by his fraternity house. Now, she looks like ass after a long night, so she drops him off, and leaves to go home and make herself presentable so she can meet his parents-for the first time. Well, she drives off and realizes that he's left his wallet in her car, so she turns around to bring it back to him. He's already gone inside, so she goes up to his room to drop off the wallet and he walks her back down to her car-and thats when his parents arrive....right when she's getting into her car in front of his house with last night's hair and make-up, and mismatched clothes. So, she had to meet them right then, and she about died.
My story is the classic-after a night of going out, I stayed with a "friend", who's place was across campus from my dorm. I headed back to my place in a short denim dress and heels. At the time I didn't know what a walk of shame was, but my sisters let me know very quickly!!

Not exactly a "Walk of Shame," but an embarassing situation at the time which seems pretty funny now.
I was working at a TV station about 75 miles from where I went to college, but my girlfriend (now wife) was still on campus, living in a really nice apartment which happened to be built over a garage behind another house.
She and her roomies had a party one night which, of course, I drove down for. I got just a little wasted, and ended up crashing at the apartment.
The next morning, there was this kind of nervous knock at the door. There was the captain of the basketball team (a really nice guy) who lived in the house in front of the garage. He was pretty embarassed to bother us, but it seemed I was parked in front of the garage and he couldn't get his car out to catch the team plane for an away game.

The best always was when the fire alarm would go off at the dorms at 4 am, then you could see just who was staying where....

It's hard to have a walk of shame without dorms, but here's mine...
After hooking up with a fraternity guy, I went to his basement to get my zippee and shoes that I had left down there. He was in the shower as I was doing this. I'm in the basement and hear someone coming down the stairs, thinking it's him. I turn around to see his roomate. Obviously he knew what happened because my guy was in the shower at like 9:30pm. That was fun times.

I sort of have a "walk of shame" situation...My bf is a Sigma Nu and he lives in the SN House. Well I used to stay with him a lot and one day during the week, he left for class while leaving me sleeping in his room. Well I woke up bc I really had to pee and the "Guys" Restroom is really close to his room, so I ran in there and no one saw me. Great! Well when I go back to his room to go back to sleep, I quickly figure out that the door locked when it closed. So there I am, locked out of his room, wearing boxers and a sports bra, looking like I just woke up. There is a utility closet that was open right next to his room so I decided to wait in there. It was cold so I grabbed a roll of paper towels that was in there and wrapped it all around me to keep warm. I waited for him for 2 hours in the closet - during that time I fell asleep. When he finally got back, I heard him unlocking his door and I called his name and pushed open the door. He found me sitting on the floor all wrapped up in paper towels and in my bra and boxers. Now that was embarrassing! Especially hiding from all the guys whenever they would walk through the hallway, I was just waiting for them to get something out of that closet!

My (only) walk of shame story...
I went to a party one Saturday evening at the dorm next door to mine. I ran into a friend of mine, and we started chatting... to make a long story short, he and I are now married.
Next morning, I put on last night's clothes, which thankfully were subdued enough to be "acceptable" for daytime wear. My hair was a mess, and all he had was a little plastic comb and one of those short bristle brushes that are fine for short hair but do absolutely nothing for long hair... so I'm using this comb to try to put my hair in order, and of course I'm failing miserably.
I went back to my dorm and ducked in the back door, and went up to my suite, where a couple of my suitemates were having breakfast. Everyone in my suite knew I shower in the morning, so when they saw me walk in fully clothed and THEN go take a shower, they knew precisely what was up

LOL...I cracked up here at work picturing someone wrapped up in paper towels. That's classic. I haven't had any really bad walks of shame. LOL...I did have a "drive" of shame though. This semester I was bored one Sunday night after exec and I was on my computer. My "friend" Bryan popped up on my instant messenger and we started chatting. Next thing I knew I was on my way to Lafayette (which is about an hour from where I go to school) to get some. HEHE. Well I finally got there around 10:30 or 11, we messed around, did our thing, and started watching a movie. I decided to leave some time after midnight. The worst part of the entire night was driving home thinking to myself that I wasted gas on pretty much nothing. LOL. IT WASN'T WORTH THE DRIVE!!!! My roommate still hasn't let me live it down. LOL. Never again will I go for a booty call that is more than 10 minutes from my house. HAHA.

My only "official" walk of shame story...it was a weekend (Homecoming actually) and I went with a sister over to the ATO house, where we had a mutual friend who was actually another sister's ex. She eventually left and I ended up spending the night and heading back to my house (sorority house) about 11:00 Sunday morning. Luckily my walk was short as I live right across the street from the fraternity, and most of my sisters had left early to go see "Rent", so I avoided major hassles.
