Everybody in broadcasting has his/her share of ego, and I'm certainly one of them. Some would masquerade it as self confidence, and that's partially right, but why not call it as it really is.

In my business, if you don't think highly of yourself, nobody else will either.

On the other hand, ego taken to far is a real drawback.

yeah i got one and luckily i keep it on a short leash and i don't let it eat too much and get large.

I have been told that mine is kind of OOC. People should stop complimenting me, then I won't have such a big head.

I have an ego about work, but yet I'm pretty humble. I like it when if I've done a good job people recognize it...but I don't necessarily go around pointing it out to my fellow associates...that's kinda like rubbing it in. But when I get home and have had a wonderful sales day, sure I'll call my mom to brag

Dunno if that constitutes having an ego...more or less pride in myself !

"EGO", a State of mind about ones self regard compared to the others around you who are "F***ing Morons!

I have a high EGO factor but a low self esteem. Where does that come in to the EGO Game?

ktsnake would be the one to ask as a new Grad. and no damn job, and was on TV news! That is hell on the E & E!

Ha, that's how I feel... My friends always compliment me, guys always compliment me and sometimes I'll put some of the things guys say to me while I'm out in my away message just because sometimes they're funny/lame. I'm pretty modest, and I'll only say things that seem egotistical to my real sister when we're joking around.
