Program Ideas...???

Hey sorors and sisterfriends & brotherfriends,
Help! I'm the 2000-2001 president of our campus' Students for the Propagation of Black Culture (more commonly known as the BSA or BSU) Anyways I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to increase active membership participation THROUGHOUT the year. Any program ideas and etc? Please reply and let me know.

A nice program would be "Poetically Speaking" have several members of your organization and others put on a "hip" poetry reading. This should be take place late in the afternoon or early evening. Now I'm not talking about "shakesphere" I'm talking about the jazzy poety you heard in "Love Jones". This will bring out a lot of people and you can have a membership drive and invite everyone to the event! This will be a wonderful program to expose your organization as well as the talent it has!
