The Willies
From reading DeltAlum and Cutie's posts in the Hoffa thread, I thought of this.
Have you ever been somewhere that gave you the creeps? For example, someone died in a motorcycle crash outside our main building at school. When I got back from Wayne State that day, the blood and everything was all cleaned up, but it was still really weird that someone had died right there in that spot that I always walk through. A few days later we were standing at the makeshift memorial and I looked down and saw some blood stains and we were like "ooohhhh gross". Everytime I walk by there or see it, I get the willies.
Or at PiKA's fraternity house. Me and a sister were sitting in their room and his roomates were telling us ghost stories. Now... I'm a huge chicken shit. I was gettin the creeps SO bad and I tried to leave and I couldn't get the front door open and I started flipping out.

Yes I get that feeling too! I HATE going in to our basement, it's not finished so it's all scary concrete rooms and stuff and then there is this "secret" room that the Lambda Chi's made when they lived there and there's no windows or anything in it and the floor drops like two feet and it just looks like a big dark hole.
Also I hate going up to room 301 in our house b/c apparently a girl died in there, I don't know how true that is, but still I think that area of our house is haunted so I avoid it as much as possible.
There is also this spot on campus by the hospital right before greek town and there are NO LIGHTS in the stupid parking lot and I used to always have to walk through there to get home. I hated it and I never go by there anymore, but seriously it looks like the perfect place to get attacked. Yikes!

On our campus we had a mass graveyard right next to the cafeteria and I felt weird walking by it. I couldn't help thinking there were probably more graves on-campus and they just removed the markers.

I went to stay with a German family in Recklinghausen once, and the basement of their house scared the bejesus out of me. It was just one loooooooong corridor with rooms opening off either side, all the way down until you reached a room at the other side where they hung the wet bath towels to dry. They always put my towel down there and every time I wanted to take a bath, I had to go down that incredibly long hallway and get it...and believe me, I blazed a trail down that hall and back! I never stopped long enough to look and see what was in each room, but the whole place just gave me the creeps because I felt like something was going to jump out at me. It looked sort of like a prison or something.

We have this old mansion in downtown fresno called the meux home. It was owned by dr. meux and he and his family lived there in the 1800's. Evidently, one of his daughters commited suicide and another died of scarlet fever and they are said to "haunt" the house. Well I went there on a school trip in fifth grade and that place gave me the creeps big time.

Actually, I was coming home after a soccer game (and the post-game festivities) and witnessed a car chase & wreck. The driver was killed instantly and the car burst into flames. The passenger was able to jump out the window and ran just about to my car before he sat down to cry. The first policeman on the scene was so gentle - he just put his hand on the boy's back as he sobbed.
Do I have to tell you that I absolutely hate going through that intersection?

I'll repost it here:
Around a year ago, I was outside the Kappa Alpha Theta house at University of Washington in Seattle (where a Theta named Georgeann Hawkins was abducted by Ted Bundy and to this day, she's never been found). Just knowing that perhaps 30 years earlier (June 10, 1974), this poor girl was taken just steps from where I was now standing, gave me the chills (and it was broad daylight for me at the time and I was there with a guy friend...so creepy).
It happened near the side entrance of the house.

My exhusband knew Georgeann Hawkins in high school. I would imagine that there's a LOT of "Bundy" places that are spooky!
