Its a small world TOM EARP

So I am leaving Houston on Thursday morning, headded back to SA. I decide to get a soda, so I stop by the corner store not to far from by sisters house. I go in and get a soda from the fountain. Theres this kid who works there and I can kinda see him watching me out of the corner of my eye. But hes lookign at me like hes afraid Im gonna steal something. Anyway, as I get to the counter to pay, he askes me if I am a Lambda Chi (I am wearing a rush shirt). I tell him yes and he introduces himself as a brother (His name was Scott, I think) from the Pittsburg State Chapter. (I think his member number was 600 something). Anyway, I ask "In Kansas?" And he says yes and that he is from Houston and is back home for the summer and working to make some cash. SO I ask him "Pittsburg State, huh? THen I am sure you know some Tom Earp." (As we all know, Tom was their founding father) And he was all, "Holy shit! You know Tom Earp?" To which all I could respond with, "Who doesnt know Tom Earp? BTW, can you understand him in person?" lol.

Anyway, it made me think how much of a small world it was.
