Doves and snakes and violets, oh my!

Does anyone collect Sigma Kappa related items? I mean like hearts, violets, doves and snakes. It seems like some of the other chapters have it a bit easier, like ADPi's with their lion, and DG's with the anchor.

I have a really cute snake ring, and plan on getting the cute little SK dove beanie. And of course, the SK afghan.. when I can convince mom and dad it'd be a nice thing to get me, that is. I just wish there was more out there that we could "collect." Maybe I'm just missing it.

anything SK I have and or/want. I have always collected snake things, so I have a snake ring I wear everyday. I make jewelry, so I collect maroon and lavender beads and gems as well as dove and heart charms so I can make SK bracelets for my sisters!
Recently I bought an SK navel ring off ebay :-)
I even have an SK air freshener.

I am always finding cute little Sig Kap stuff, esp. at Target (they have a cute violet collection). But we have families, and mine is the elephants and I have soo much stuff. I have an elephant cell phone holder, elephant dolls (including the carebear one), and even an elephant carpet. Yes, I am a little bit consumed, but I love my lil and gran lil sooooooo much !!!!!!!

Call me crazy but my bedroom is decorated in maroon, lavender, and violets. I love it! I have some great shams and curtains with embroidered violets on them from Pottery Barn. I get to display a lot of my Sigma Kappa stuff in my room too like picture frames, candles, my paddles, etc. My friends tease me for having the "Sigma Kappa Room"
I just love violets. I'll buy just about anything with violets on it. I have a lovely violet necklace from Tiffany's that I simply adore.

A Sigma Kappa wedding?
That's very interesting.
I really think that's a great idea.
What do you plan on doing?

i was thinking maroon, lavender, and silver as my colors.
-wear pearls in my hair and have them on my dress.
-have violets as part of the centerpieces.
-have violets on the cake.
-possibly a dove on the ceremony bulletin.

stuff like that. i was also thinking of having my sisters do a sisterhood circle and a candle pass.

I want my sisters to do a candle pass before the ceremony and pin my badge to the inside of my dress, I also plan on having some type of coursage made up for all my sisters in attendance. Also my chapter has a tradition of dancing in a circle to I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor (sp). We do it at every formal and semi-formal and at weddings. We leave our dates at the tables and it's sisters only.
