I feel like such a freak...
besides the fact I have become a huge post whore since I joined - I am overly excited for recruitment.
17 days until my 20th birthday!
20 days until pre-recruitment move in!
23 days until recruitment!
We have a workshop this weekend. our last one before move in. We have to rbing all our outfits for each day to get them approved. I spent 4 hours at the mall trying to find a meet the greeks dress and a pref dress.
For meet the greeks I got this strapless nice linen/cotton dress from The Gap. It is a beautiful bright blue-purple color. This is the first year we are tying to do a mix of wide strapped dresses and sleeveless dresses. Since most of the chapters do this on the first day, I think maybe tossing in the sleeveless might help us stand out.
For Pref, we had to go find a black formal. I found this beautiful chiffon dress. In the back the ciffon folds over itself creating a V (not too low). I feel like a movie star going to the oscars. My mom was like "Gez Andrea, I feel like everything we go shopping I am buying you ANOTHER formal!"
OOOOOH! ANd I am so pumped about skit. Let me tell you about it! hahahaa - We are doing the Delta Gamma Grammys. Half of the sorority not in skit are going to be wearing sparkaly formal dresses, and then the other half are going to be in cute fitted tuxedo like outfits. I get to dance to the Shania Twaine "I'm gonna get you good" song. We changed the lyrics up a bit, of coarse, and it is so adorable.
Anyways - hahaha, I just wanted to vent my excitment. I have been away from school for about 2 months now and all I want to do is go back and be with everyone again! I don't even care if that also includes me having to go to class and taking tests!
