I thought I'd start an AMC thread seeing as though there is a GH and DOOL one. Discuss.

I've watched All My Children for years! It's one of those things I picked up because my mom would record it all the time and watch them on the weekends when she was doing laundry or whatever!

I haven't watched it recently, but I will never forget I used to think Erica Cane was the bomb! She always got what she wanted when she wanted!

... even if she did get married 500 times !

Good thread idea. I've been watching AMC for 12 years (yeah, I know that's crazy). Lately it's gotten really good. Probably because the old head writer came back to the show. I like the Fusion Girls, especially Greenlee. I heard Ryan is coming back and she might hook up with him again. Or there could be a triangle with Kendall. I'm glad Kendall and Erica are FINALLY bonding. But I hate that they killed off David & Anna's baby and had Michael rape Bianca.

I watched AMC for years, from the time it started. I had to quit because I disliked too many of the actors and roles. It was really good back in the day.

By the way, Jack Montgomery is HOT!!

ME TOO-from the time it stated, but I haven't watched it in YEARS!
At U of Houston, they played it downstairs in Moody Towers. All, and I mean ALL the football players were there to watch it! LOL!

The era I liked the very best was when Tad-Jenny-Liza-Angie and he boyfriend (Memory loss) were in HS.

When they turned Bianca into a lesbian, I kind of lost it.

I turned it on yesterday (don't ask me why) are they reliving Erica's rape AGAIN??? Remember Tara??? Is Dixie gone?

edited- Was everyone watching when Silver (Buffy) was on? A TON of stars come out of these soaps.

I stopped watching when Janet Green left. She was soooooo funny! Remember the crowbar killer who's hallucination talked to her at mirrors?

I stopped watching for many years, (kept up occasionally via Soap Opera Digest) but tuned back in about a month ago & have to say, it seems like the good ol' days are back!

Another actress is playing Kendall--SMG does not have kind words for AMC...seems she forgot where she got her start (and btw-she was a pretty awful actress when she started on there...).

I am also from the Greg-Jenny-Liza-Tad-Hillary-Jessie-Angie generation. Cried my eyeballs out when Jenny died. I miss Phoebe meddling in everyone's business. I also think Tom Cudahy should come back and sweep Brooke off her feet (poor thing, always the 3rd wheel)...either that, or Brooke & Adam need to get back together. They really are fun together.

I like Erica, but don't consider her the best part of the show (BLASPHEMY, I know). I am glad she and Jackson are back together--she better not screw it up. Not crazy about Bianca being a lesbian--not that I have issues with it socially, but really, how could they choose her to have that storyline? She's LaCain's daughter! She's supposed to be surrounded by hot men & loving it!!!

Dixie is dead (Cadie McClain is on ATWT or something now)...Tad & Liza have been dancing around eachother, which would be alright, I guess.

Anna needs to go back to GH, and bring her daughter, Robin (recast) and ex-hubby Scorpio back to Port Charles.

Michael raped Bianca? I must have missed that (haven't watching in about a week).

Enough commentary for me.

I haven't watched in ages, either. Janet was always hysterical. Remember the Janet throwing Natalie in the well fiasco? LOL

I've tried watching again a couple of times in the last few years, but I don't recognize anyone anymore!

When/how did Dixie die?

Dixie died suddenly (and off camera) in a car crash. She was carrying Tad's baby, so that made it extra sad. I heard that they are going rehash the whole Marian/Tad/Liza thing again. Don't know why. I remember when Janet threw Natalie down the well. That was a good story.

I love how they made Harry this sterotypical Asian who's task it was basically to do nothing but study and become a doctor at the wish of his naive mother. Then he meets an "American woman" who corrupts him, and his mother no longer accepts him.

Shit, If a girl like Maggie came up to me with that, I think I'd drop med school too. j/k

Bianca (or, the girl who plays her) is probably the hottest woman on TV (Daytime at least) I think I've already reiterated that though.

It'd be great to see Tad as a pimp again.

hmmmm were they twins or just look-a-likes???

So that makes-Stuart, Tad and Natalie who were twins. Love Stuart BTW.

Just a little side note-The man who plays Adam/Stuart was the lead male dancer in the dream sequece of OKLAHOMA!
(the one with Shirley Jones and ???Gordon McCray???)
