A Pet
Ugh. I'm not allowed to have a dog, cat, basically anything that moves around the house or can get the house dirty. I have fish already.
I want a pet! Something kinda cheap, cute, and is easy to take care of and doesn't bite. Any suggestions?

Ugh I had hermit crabs in like 5th grade and I thought they were kinda creepy! I refused to pick them up and they died. I think I might get a turtle.

If you like birds, "Budgie" parakeets are cheap, cute, and pretty easy to take care of. They usually run anything from 10-25$.

Oh yeah definately no birds! We've done the bird thing and they do make a mess!
Are turtles hard to take care of?

I have an aquatic turtle, and he's pretty easy to take care of. I keep him in a 10-gallon tank (he's still pretty small) filled with water. If you get an aquatic turtle, just make sure you have a good filter and a UV lamp, and a place for him to get out of the water and bask in the lamp. Actually any turtle will need the UV lamp, it keeps them healthy and happy. My turtle is SO cute, and he actually has a personality... he lets you know when he wants food by looking up at you and splashing in the water by waving his front legs

Whatever you do DO NOT get a hamster,
they look cute, are cute actually...but smell to all high hell
unless you clean the cage all the time,
they sleep when you are awake, and when you are asleep they are awake running on thier little wheel
i just got a kitten, and i cant keep it at my dorm, so i sweet talked my boyfriend into letting me keep her at his apartment... YAY! so excited cause he is so cute and adorable
boyfriends getting a lil jealous though cause when i go over i play with the kitty for an hour before he gets any attention...LOL

LOL that's so funny you mention that! When I first got Alpha (my first betta) I spoiled him rotten! He had the cutest tank, decorations, etc. and when the got a tiny rip in his fins I rushed to PetCo to buy him medicine. I would even play a little game with Alpha by putting a pencil up to his tank so he could see it and he would chase it when I moved it around. my boyfriend would always say things like I paid more attention to my fish than him, but he got over it

I think when I go home this weekend for the 4th, I'm going to get a fire-bellied newt. They're mainly aquatic, but do need a place to get out of the water. Most people probably think they're gross and slimy, but you can take them out and they'll crawl around, just make sure to have barricades up cause they're fast. I'd get a fish but you can't take them out of their tank and plus my roommates betta just commited suicide a couple of weeks ago by jumping out of his tank. We think our ghost, Cameron, in our sorority house made him do it, lol.
I need suggestions for a name for my newt. Any good ones?

Get a sugar glider or some other "pocket pet" (you know, little tiny animals). I don't know how difficult they are to take care of, but if you really want a pet, well, they're cute!
