United Nations Extrance Examinations

For all of you interested in having a career in the International Field, the UN Entrance Exam deadline is in September.

I checked out the website. Sociology is included under the category of Social Affairs. Also Economics and Statistics are grouped together. I don't know how they could be connected. Somebody please explain that to us!

Because Economics uses a lot of math and statistics.

Ditto to that - and Arya, where were you last semester? All those questions were questions on my exams in Politics of the Global Economy and IR - glad to know he's inventive.

yeah, the question isn't exactly the greatest. REmmember that this exam is for entry level for the secretariat. The specialized agencies such as UNAIDS, UNDP, etc have their own process. Plus, I've herd the process take bout 1.5 years.

Hey Rudey, if you're interested in straight forward economic stuff, try UNCTAD, WTO, World BAnk or the IMF. Or if you want to go the developmental side, UNDP.
