Independence Day
Does your family or GLO have any traditions for the fourth of july?
Is anyone doing anything exciting for the fourth?

My family always goes to our houseboat on Dale Hollow Lake. It is on the border of Tenn and KY. My brothers are coming down (one with his wife) some friends of theirs and his wife and my boyfriend and I! We take the boat out on the lake and tie up with about 6 other boats full of friends and family that have boats down there, too! We have tons of fun! I am so excited. I have to work early and late EVERY day this week but it will be worth it this weekend!

I'm going over to the house I used to live in... One of my old roommates (and soon to be sister-in-law) is having a barbecue there.

Some friends from school are coming down so we are going to spend all day on national mall taking part in all the events and then going to the Lincoln Memorial to see the fireworks.

The LUL's in DC always have this big Greek bbq. They're having it again this year.

Mr. BetaRose is coming up for the weekend. I haven't seen him since Memorial Day, so I'm really excited. This is our last weekend visit before we move into our new apartment Its a tradition for us to watch the fireworks, which Gainesville always has on July 3 instead of July 4, but he won't be here in time for that.

Wanna go tubeing. It'll be about as packed as the damn malls the day after thanksgiving. UGh, but I want to. Saturday Heathers cool-ass coworkers (Remmeber the lady who filled the pinatas with those little liquor bottles you get on the planes?) are throwing a 5th of July Pool Party, so Ima takin by fat ass, love handles and pale skin over there for that. Should be cool.
Ohey Vhey I need sun.

Big fireworks display @ UMass. Then party @ my cousin's beach house in Onset. It's a good time.

The fireworks rock...UMass does not haha
(I don't mean to get off topic- but the entire campus is made of this really strange ribbed concrete type material...and the walkways outside are mosaic-style cement w/ rocks (FORGET the flip flops you'll fall over) and the stairs are waayyy awkward (they're all too big or too small, the only happy medium leads up to the library...)
...The only thing that makes sense @ UMass Dartmouth is THE RING. Ring Rd/Parking Lot #17 = where us local kids learned to drive
