the random hijack chain
we are going to play a game. i will start by talking about something, then the next person replies by picking out something in my post that reminds them of something else. then that person starts a new story and so on. get it?
DONT BREAK THE CHAIN. quote the previous person's line that you want to respond to. we have to keep this chain continous.
Know what I am watching for the fifty millionth time? the movie 'clueless'. cause i am so damn bored. it is a saturday night and i am at home. today was so unexciting. i want this night to end so i can start a new boring day tomorrow!
i know 'clueless' scene for scene. it is still a great movie, but can't i find something else to watch?

I watched Clueless today, too! Brittney Murphy used to be such a little cutie pie when she was in that movie. It's like she made herself over into a skank now, though. I saw her in that movie with Aston K-whateverhislastnameis (Demi's new boyfriend) where she was supposed to play an upper class girl marrying a working class guy and she just could not pull off the "upper class" thing. She was pretty realistic in "8 Mile", though.

I really liked "8 Mile." The guy in the movie that Em was battling is one of my friend's ex-boyfriends. Can you believe that? I actually know a movie star. I hope that he makes it big.

Talking about distorted, I had the displeasure of being forced to watch the Crying Game by my neighbor. She definately owes me big time, I'm going to force her to watch Fight Club.

It's funny you should mention crying, I was just yesterday talking about how easily I can get misty eyed watching television, listening to music, whatever. Like, the final episode of Good Times...forget about it!

So was I on the movies with sad endings thread. I've alway liked the quote, "Music hath the charm to soothe the savage breast." As a kid, I thought it said savage BEAST! I still think it makes more sense!

Speaking of LOVE . . . I LOVE it when someone sends you a letter or card out of the blue. My bf sent me a card just because he knew I was down and my best friend (Ali) sent me the cutest letter on this pooh ad she tore out of a magazine. She is so sweet! Friends are the best thing ever.

I really like Ali G. Brilliant show that is hilarious. He interviewed this DEA guy about drug enforcement. It was hilarious.
I also love his interview with member of the British Parliament on anal sex. Imagine somebody like him interviewin Condeleeza Rice about something sick and perverted.

Speaking of "anal" I always wondered what kind of studies psychologists actually DO to diagnose someone as "anal retentive." Where did that term come from? I mean beyond their theory about potty training and all...

'anal retentive' makes me think of my psych class last wed. we were discussing that and i felt like such a dork. i could not get sex off my mind. i managed to keep a serious face while inside i am cracking up. i am thinking 'now i know i am not the only one that is currently acting like a horny teenager.'

You know what made me crack up the other day? One of my toddlers at work (around 2 yrs old) asked me if I had a baby in my boobies. Little kids are so funny!
