Miss America Greeks- West Coaster's Don't read!

I don't want to spoil things for the west-coasters who are on tape delay and don't get to see it live.

But how are all the greeks doing? How many greeks made top 15?

KD's representative, Miss North Carolina, has made top 15.

Miss Mississippi --- a member of Delta Delta Delta at the University of Southern Mississippi... she graduated in May.

fyi -- This was her first year at Miss Mississippi and she won... Everyone was shocked... because most Miss Mississippi's have been contestants for several years in a row before they won.

I know

I am not sure I agree with the top five completely...

Erika Harold - Miss Illinois
Camille Lewis - Miss Maryland

I think they belonged... but I am not sure I would have picked the other three..

Okay, why does everyone on these Paegent shows think they can sing? There were a few people on there who should NOT have been singing!

Lol on the singing comment. I think a lot of people incorrectly think they can sing!

What to ya'll think about this Miss American quiz? When I heard about it, I thought it would be a serious quiz on current news and policy issues.... it seems more like "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" I am a bit disappointed. Who cares who knows what Bruce Springsteen's post- 9/11 alum is titled?????

Good idea, bad outcome. It made some of the people look kinda silly.

I went to HS with Miss Maryland, Camille Lewis. Though always a very pretty girl, she has gotton gorgeous!!!!!!!!!
However during the Quiz bit all I could think was that I hoped our American history teacher wasn't watching

Amen to that!

Does anyone know Miss Illinois/Miss America's affiliation? She went to UIUC so it'd be a bit surprising if she weren't greek.

I did a google search on her name and didn't find anything about being in a sorority anywhere. The closest she is is being Phi Beta Kappa.

I was EXTREMELLY disappointed watching the talent competition. What qualifies as talent amazes me. The violin player (maryland?) truely had talent, but the others are quite debatable.

I wish the whole top ten got to perform their talent, maybe we wouldn't seen something better.

Well I guess the greeks have to hold out until Miss USA (when is it?). There's a ton of greeks in that- Miss Florida- KD! I think we have another KD too, can't remember who.

I'm not sure when Miss USA is? i checked out the site out of curiosity, and I think the next Miss USA is in early spring of 2003.

Miss District of Columbia USA is Miss USA I believe...

... I have just always wondered why D.C. competes for Miss USA seperately, while other people have to compete in statewide pagents in order to compete in Miss USA?

I go to U of I and I don't believe Erika Harold was Greek. She's unlisted in the Greek telephone guide and I would have heard about it by now if she were. For such a big school, news travels fast
