WWII Graduates

I'm watching some show (can't remember the name) and they just did a piece on this man who is 70-some years old and he was getting his diploma. For those who don't know, there is like this new law that people who fought in WWII and couldn't graduate high school are automatically given their diploma. Anyways, it had to be teh cutest thing! Him and his wife went to the prom with all the high schoolers and they showed him dancing the nite away with all of them! So cute! Then they showed him walking down the isle of graduation and they gave him a special honor and the speaker said that he was a TRUE hero! Then Jack (the old man) said that it was the happiest and proudest day of his life.

Does anyone know of any other stories about WWII veterans and their diplomas?
