Post BETA ALPHA NEOS

What's up to the pretty girls in pink & green. Pretty boy in Tallahassee, FL. Just thought you'd wanna see the Neos of Beta Alpha. Go to www.collegeclub.com. You will be looking for the photo gallery. Once you find the the photo gallery, you will need to scroll down to Florida. They have them listed by state. Once you find Florida, you will be looking for Florida A&M University. That will lead you to their campus gallery. I hope you enjoy.

Thanks for the info, Nupe4Life! Glad to see you on our board.

Isn't it funny how both the AKA and DST chapters have the same name? Anyone know the history behind that or if there are other campuses at which our organizations share chapter names?

It doesn't matter what organization you are a member of, they are all named the same. The chapters are named according to when their chapter was established and their name is assigned the next Greek letters in succession. For instance if the Beta Alpha chapter was the last chapter to be established, the next chapter will be Beta Beta, and so on. On the campus of Hampton University Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity are both the Gamma Iota Chapter of their respected organization. Hope that answers your question!

Thank you, 1Babygirl2000! I am familar with how chapters are named according to the Greek alphabet, I just thought it was serendipitous that both AKA and DST share a chapter name at FAMU, given our shared history and our friendly rivalry.

Soror Pinkivy,
Those are very good photos. I viewed them a while back then sent the address to my brother who is a Famu Alumni(APhiA) and cousin(Kappa) BCC Alumni, respectively. They were impressed as was I. Much love.

Thanks NUPE4LIFE,

I am glad that you decided to spread some of that crimson and cream love in the Land of Pink and Green. I am one of those lovely neos of the Beta Alpha Chapter---#40.

For all of those who can please check out our picutres, they are really nice. Thanks to FAMU's Collegeclub rep who took the pictures. Job well done.

It is rather ironic that they got the same chapter names. I thought the same thing about the Alpha's and Delta's at HU. What I found more intriguing is that fact that the chapter names of 4 of the 9 BGLO's on campus begin with Gamma!
