SNL was at its best in the early years. Eddie Murphy (was he a regular) was funny as Buckwheat.

I'm with you JAM...All of the above. Add to that:
Steve Martin
Dana Carvey (not old school SNL, but he WAS the season during those years).

p.s. I wasn't even allowed to watch the show during the first seasons-but I had an uncle who thought it was a tragedy & let us watch it when we were at his house.... Best SNL compilation on video: Best of Dan Ackroyd...you must check this out! Among other things, it has Landshark, Bag O' Glass, Wild 'n Crazy Guys, Coneheads....

New season the only one I like is Mya Rudolph. Her Xtina is hilarious and so is Donatella and Gemini's Twin (especially the show where Lucy Lui hosted).
