Hey!

Does anyone know where I can look for a cheap plane ticket from Atlanta to Daytona Beach for next wedensday? Suggestions are greatly appreciated!

One way or round trip? How long are you planning to stay? If you stay a Saturday night you can usually get a little break on the price; at this short of a notice you may not get super cheap fares. Lemme do a little checkin' around.

orbitz.com is really good. They also have a link to student travel on their main page... all you need is a .edu address.

Through Orbitz.com (www.orbitz.com), cheapest round trip with a Saturday night stay is $352 on Delta, nonstop. Also works for no Saturday night stay as well.

You save a smidgen less if you don't mind driving from Orlando; $322 round trip on AirTran.

Actually, its just one way. My best friend is down there with her family and they wanted me to come, but my summer class doesn't end till wednesday morning! Thanks for the tips though!

Coming back DFW-EWR June 29:

AA 560 08:53 Dallas/Ft Worth, TX (DFW) 13:21 Newark, NJ (EWR)

AA 542 10:44 Dallas/Ft Worth, TX (DFW) 15:10 Newark, NJ (EWR)

AA 692 12:52 Dallas/Ft Worth, TX (DFW) 17:28 Newark, NJ (EWR)

Only showing the first three flights; there's about 4-5 at that price for different times.

Not much savings on the student only deals, though. Only US Airways with a connection in Pittsburgh (PGH) return thru Charlotte (CLT) for $257.24, the PGH connection leaving EWR at 09:45, arriving DFW at 13:35. The CLT connection leaves DFW at 07:45, arrives EWR at 14:18.
