Bobbing-Head Owl

www.ImprovementsCatalog.com

Owl “In Motion” Protects Your Garden With A Realistic Threat To Birds And Rodents!

Squirrels, rabbits and birds eventually learn to ignore those typical stationary fake owls, because they never move! But as soon as they see this realistic-looking, molded-plastic owl guarding your garden—with his head bobbing and rotating in the slightest breeze—they’ll high-tail it out of there in a hurry, reducing the chance of damage to your garden’s produce. A life-sized 18” tall.
Buy 2 or more $28.99 ea.

Yeah a friend of the family has them in their house. The mom says she's annoyed but she knows they don't hurt anything. I'd be in heaven to have lady bugs bless my house: they are supposedly good luck ya know!

Better that the ants and silverfish I've got

There is a tiny little Louis Vuitton evening bag that I have my eye on.....it is a golden material (with LV you never know if it is real leather or what) and it is a owl head imprinted with the LV insignia. I am loving it but it is pretty pricey for something you would use so rarely so I am hedging.

If any of you visit Canada, pay a visit to a Girl Guides shop in Canada. They have quite a few different plush owls, since that is one of the Brownies symbols. They're not very expensive and Americans get very good value and purchasing power on the exchange rate. Also, Girl Guides is a great cause, too.
Whenever I see those Brownies owls, I think of Chi Omega.

There's a nice lady on Ebay called Pat White. She makes wonderful sorority totebags. I thought these Chi O designs were quite nice:

That chili pepper pillow case (I believe that's what it is) is really darling. I have a Chi Omega pillow case that has what looks like little jelly beans on black with pink CW! But I like that other one better. Of course I also bought a t-shirt that has the CW cut out in lady bugs (my ALL time favorite).
