I AM! I've been to the last two conventions, and it was awesome. You should go, even if no one else from your chapter does. You meet SO many new people!

I would go by myself, but I have this phobia about getting lost...probably because I get lost everywhere I go! I'd probably never even find Michigan. LOL. But I'm pretty sure at least one girl is wanting to go, so I'll probably go.

I wanna go! But I'm afraid of the cost . . . plus, I'm also worried about taking off from work (I have seen some of the e-mails on the list-serv) . . . But I'm gonna try my bestest to go!

convetion
can anyone tell me how you go about signing up to go and how far in advance you need to do that? I really want to go...this I believe is the first convention for my chapter, or maybe second. Not too many people are sure about the procedures. Does anybody know about the costs?

Your chapter should receive a registration packet fairly soon. I seem to remember getting ours around February or so.

Count me in!
I'm the only one from my chapter going. It will be my first time flying, so needless to say, I'm a little anxious about the whole thing!
Hope to see some of you there!

Well turns out I'm the only one from my chapter going (I'm the delegate). I'm excited, but scared!

No, I know I haven't...and I don't think any delegates have yet. I'm anxious to know! I know we get contact info for the other 3 roommates, and I'm anxious to know who they are and to contact them. I really hope they're cool enough so I can have someone to hang out with. If not, then I dunno.
Also, on the Listserv they said that Dinner of Honors is very dressy, and you can wear a formal if you want. I really want to wear this gorgeous formal that I bought when we were supposed to have a formal in April but it got cancelled. Anyone else going to wear a formal??
Wow this whole convention thing is so exciting! Any other delegates on here? Anyone like me going by themselves?

Most attendees wear a formal gown for the Dinner of Honors. I'd say you're underdressed if you don't wear one!

Oh, good...I just have this fear of being overdressed or underdressed. Glad to know I'll fit in. Plus I'm glad to get a use for my formal! It's very pretty...it's light peachy-pink fading down to dark coral, with spaghetti straps. It's simple, but pretty.
