Do you think that there will be a SL3? With Greek101 pulling out, will MTV do this again?

I actually think they've started filming SL3 with a multi-cultural local sorority somewhere in California.

If you take a look at texas sweetie's website, there's a SL3 being filmed in CA.

I believe it's at USC.

Rumor has it that MTV was, for a while, not considering airing this season since the sorority was too "boring."

I vaguely remember someone mentioning that MTV was not sure if they would aire SL3 because they weren't sure if the new sorority was "interesting".. I'm guessing by that they mean not enough drama? I think Texas-Gal would have more info on that though.

Until you mentioned that I had forgotten that SL3 was discussed earlier in the year, I just didn't know if they (MTV) was going to go through with it.

I bet that you are right about the "not enough drama" being the reason for not airing. MTV owes Greeks a good season of SL.

I hope MTV doesn't air SL3. As a member of a multi-cultural organization, I shutter to think how those girls will be protrayed after MTV does the editing that we have come and know so well.

Look what seasons 1 and 2 have done to the locals.

I think SL3 is gonna be really wacked! MTV is gonna try to push its limits, cause more drama and try to be more invasive in the sorority....!

If MTV decides not to air it...thatd be kinda sad for the sorority who went through all the mess with dealing with the cameras or being followed by the MTV crew peeps! hahahahah

Actually, I disagree. They get the money from MTV, but since MTV doesn't air the episodes, they don't get their reputation ruined on national television. I think that in that case, the sorority would come out the winner.

I think that MTV will just do what they've been doing on "Real World" for seasons and just do some weird, choppy editing to make it look like there's more drama than there was.

I cringe in fear just thinking how it will be in the next series. I don't think I will enjoy one bit. I am an alumna of a local multicultural (that is aspiring to grow) and I am afraid of the backlash the "creative editing" will cause to MGLOs.

As far as I know both are being filmed currently at the University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC)...

Sorority Life 3 stars the Zeta Sigma Phi sorority at the Uni of Southern California.

Fraternity Life 2 stars the Delta Omega Chi fraternity at UC - Santa Cruz.
