Matrix Spoiler
You were warned . . . So I'll tell the ending. 2 of the three major characters die in the end lol. Oh and Zion is destroyed because Neo makes the wrong choice.
So what did everyone else that saw the movie think?
The special effects were dramatic, although some people complained it was too video gameish . . . did anyone catch any scenes that seemed entirely animated?
[b]Trinity as a character is just plain hot. Like when she threatens that girl with her gun in the ladies room? (James swoons) DAMN . . . that was some woman . . . [/B}
Favorite line in the movie right now, it will change:
"(swearing in french) . . . Is like wiping your ass with silk." Great line.
Oh you can't leave until ALL the LONG ASS credits are done or you will miss th special treat they put into it the movie.

I agree with you James. A few of the scenes seemed a little too video game-ish, but it was still good. Especially the scene where Neo fights the 8 million Agent Smith's...that was a really animated to me, but again, I still liked it a lot. My friends and I are going to go see it again in a few days because we liked it so much. Oh yeah, I am also looking forward to playing the video game since there are scenes in the video game that are not in the movie. I give the movie two thumbs up

Eirene, its not an ending. The third one will pick up right there. They literally shot them all together, then divided them into two. So, Matrix:Reloaded is half a movie.

I thought Agent Smith was missing his usual hilarious smug delivery of lines.
When Neo reached into Trinity's body and massaged her heart to bring her back to life, I just laughed and laughed. I thought that was hokey. Though I know a variation on this technique can be -- and is -- used in ERs around the world.

Well true it WAS hokey but hey . . . in theory they were digital beings so I guess it was a symbolic representation of him altering her coding and bringing her back to life lol.
I was routing for it, because as I said before, the "trinity" character is just hot lol.

I was cracking up at that line, actually all of his lines.
BTW, I was so,so happy to see my favorite boxer, Roy Jones Jr., make an appearance.

True, but the movie ended like a tv show....Not to ruin it for everyone else, but they should have ended the movie in the scene right before this one.

I thought the movie was great. The ending was a pisser though... everyone in the theatre yelled and groaned. The fight scene with Neo and Mr. Smith seemed a bit long to me. I loved Neo and Trinity's chemistry, but the sex scene was a bit much. Also, I think that all the computer lingo that was used with Neo and the "father of the Matrix" may have flown over some people's heads. I'm really glad that we don't have to wait too long for the next one, just another 4 months.

Yeah, but then you'd have to begin the third movie with them getting off the ship. They had to give you a little teaser of the third movie, and now we know that something happens to Neo, thus increasing our curiosity about what will happen in Revolutions. I thought they did a pretty good job of having a climax, and then a resolution that still is way up in the air.
For example, with the Lord of the Rings, the transitions are like commercial breaks...I totally forget what happens and need 15 minutes of recap. I guarantee we will all be able to jump right back into the story with Revolutions.

Can someone describe the trailer for "Revolutions"? I didn't stay to watch it.
Also, throughout the Neo-Trinity "love-fest" I was totally distracted by the holes in their arms, back, chest, etc. Couldn't they have gone into the Matrix -- where they have their "residual self-images" -- to do this? Ha! Just kidding.

OHMYGOSH!!!! I watched that movie tonight and it ROCKED MY WORLD!!!! It was WAY better than the first one. And the previews for Matrix Revolution look awesome... although I think I know they will probably make us wait 2 or 3 more years till they release it.
On the movie: The fight scene w/ Neo & the 500 million Agent Smiths seemed never ending... I didn't particularly like the way the movie ended like a TV sitcom season finale

Maybe I'm a movie elitist but...
I thought the movie totally blew. Keanu Reeves' complete and total failure (for the 1000th time!) at acting; a poor/confusing plotline that was confusing precisely because it was poorly written; empty, cliche comments that were an attempt to impress audiences; in general, disjunction (perhaps this was a motif but it was overdone; far too many similar and repetitive fight scenes (I did enjoy the freeway one); much overplayed, sappy love between trinity and neo (gee, she saved his life through love last time... I wonder what he'll do when she dies this time ; bizarre musical/video montages....
Basically, the philosophy behind it is Plato-lite. Gag me! I don't know. I feel like the movie was so designed to impress people that it was rendered pathetic.
That's just my two cents, though. It isn't really my type of movie in the first place, so don't let that prevent you from seeing it.
Did anyone else not dig it? I mean for reasons other than just the ending?
