Shopping Pet Peeves

**Reading the WAL MART thread got me to thinking and remembering the things that piss me off when I go shopping**

1. Stores that have say 40 lanes but only say 6 are ever open and only one is an express lane that moooves SLOW AS HECK.

QUESTION: What bothers you about stores, shopping, etc.?

parents that refuse to keep their kids on a leash (figuratively i mean). i hate it when kids are running up and down aisles or screaming the whole time.

*Whenever there's like a row of 5 people walking at 1mph and you can't pass them.

*Bad @$$ kids!

*Whenever people push their carts aggressively.

*Whenever I go into a grocery store, and all of the lanes are blocked, so I have to walk to the opposite side of the store in order to get in the back.

*Whenever cashiers throw my money back at me.

*Whenever I buy an embarrasing personal item alone, they ask me "Do you want a bag?"

People who have to take their entire family shopping, and then spend the whole time fighting with each other, threatening to beat their children, and blocking the aisles.

Those fat people rollin' around on those lil' cart things. They act like they don't care if they hit you.

The old ladies who stand in the middle of the isle. Don't ask them to move. They will give you all kinds of attitude. Look at you like you're crazy. WTF!

You know what, speaking of kids in stores, they may be annoying, but it is as h*ll when they get "disciplined".

The "oops" I have one item, so can I cut you?
HELL no! I"ve been waiting, so YOU HAVE TO ALSO!

The kids that do not get disciplined and the parents who act like there isn't anything going on.

The people who come in the stores with hair rollers and run down slippers.

The little babies that do not have on pants, only diapers.

The parents who come to shop and their kids are dirty as all get out.

The people who take the shopping baskets back to their apartments or as close to the bus stop as possible. Why?

When something is advertised, you go there and you cannot find it.

When you purchase something and the next day or week, the crap is on sale AFTER you have worn it.

That makes me so mad! To see someone beating their child in public that is so wrong. You desciplined you child at home not in the stores. Train your kids at home. That way they will know how to act.

Disciplined, not beaten.

I agree with a lot that has been said but I have to speak up about these horrible children that you all hate !!!!!LOL As a mother of two who considers herself pretty strict, I can tell you that little kids just act up. Granted, it is obnoxious when parents ignore them and let them tear up the place, but when my kid is being a normal toddler and I try to handle the situation and STILL get looks and comments from others, I always come up with a retort that leaves them blushing. (One time my daughter was having a typical two-year-old tantrum at the mall and I was escorting her out. This old man made some comment about why she was screaming like that and I looked at him and cooly said "Because she hasn't had her daily beating yet....." and walked away. This teenage boy standing there looked at the old man in disgust and said "Hasn't he ever seen a toddler before???" and smiled at me.)

I am annoyed by the people at B.J.'s Wholesale Club who keep going up to the free sample tables so they won't have to buy lunch.

I can't stand the Stroller Brigade Mamas with those biga-- strollers that are the size of a Miata who think they always have the right of way because they have a baby stroller.

Thud as biga-- stroller runs over old lady..."Oh dear, did I run something over? I hope it didn't wake Taylor up from her nap!"

I have two kids so of course I've used a stroller in the past and I'm happy to say I've never caused bodily harm to any innocent onlookers!

Also, people who choose to pay by check and then don't even get their checkbook out until the clerk gives them their total (whereas I have everything filled out but the total and signature) and then fumble around in their purse looking for their driver's license. "What, you want to see ID? How unusual!"

Pet Peeve

When you run into Wal-Mart at 11pm on Saturday night to pick up one or two items and there are 2 checkouts open and about 1 million people in line

If you save your reciept, a lot of stores will offer you a price adjustment on the item. The length of time varies from store to store, but its usually 7 to 14 days.

I was in a furniture store today, and there was this baby running around screaming. I heard the dad say to the mom "let him wear himself out." Yeah, at the expense of the other shoppers.

If you have to take a test to drive a car, get licenses for professional things, you sure as hell should have to take a test to be allowed to reproduce!
