Favorite Cartoons
I was watching Cartoon Network with my two-year-old nephew the ohter day and I didn't recognize ANY of the cartoons that they were advertising. We ended up watching a remade version of the Super Friends (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, etc.) called Justice Squad. It really was no good but my nephew seemed to enjoy it. I started thinking about my favorite cartoons from when I was a child.
Inspector Gadget
Scooby-Doo, Where are you?
He-Man and Skeletor
Fraggle Rock
The Smurfs
What were your favorite cartoons?

Do puppet shows count, too?
The Smurfs
The Great Space Coaster
The Muppets
Ed Grimley
Punky Brewster
Spiderman
The Superfriends (WonderTwin powers, ACTIVATE!) I loved this, lol
Fat Albert (wth is that pink thing on ol' dude's head? I said it was bubble gum, lmao, my sister said it was his hat. WTH is it??)
Scooby-Doo
The Flintstones
The Jetsons
Batman (not the newest one, but the one that was out in the 90's)
And now, since I STILL watch them:
RECESS (this is one of the best cartoons on TV, because it is JUST like when we were little. I love this show!)
SOUTH PARK (this is the other best cartoon, it's so political, and people miss it, because they think it's a trashy cartoon. It's hilarious.)
The Weekenders
The Powerpuff Girls (I cracked on this show, but it is HILARIOUS!)
The Proud Family
Fairly Odd Parents
King of the Hill
Family Guy

You know, CN has a new cartoon which features many of Superfriends. I think it's called Justice League.
Tom and Jerry
Looney Toons
That cartoon where the Hanna-Barbera characters had these battle games. I forgot what it's called, but I remember this dog that had this funny laugh.

OLD SCHOOL CARTOONS....
I know that I'm old 'cause yall are claiming Fraggle Rock as your favorite cartoon...Fraggle Rock came on HBO.....I remember when there wasn't HBO.....just WHT....and you had that huge box on top of your TV with a key that you had to turn to get cable.....those were the days....(imagine life in 2001 with one cable channel.... )
Anyways.......My favorite cartoon was always......Bugs Bunny.....It became even funnier as I got older.....My favorite is the one where Bugs is a Matadore(sp?).....He says "what a gull-a-bull"....get it gullible......and "what a nin-cow-poop"......Bugs is HILARIOUS!!!!!!
I also liked ........
Felix the Cat
Betty Boop
Mighty Mouse (here I come to save the day!!)
Mickey Mouse & Friends
These are classics!!!!

OLD SCHOOL CARTOONS
Oh Yeah....
I know it's not exactly a Cartoon but does anyone remember Captain Kangaroo.....
And when School House Rock was actually a mini cartoon ....
Recently my son and I got into a debate about MR. Snuffalupagus (sp?)..on Sesame Street.....I distinctly remember when he was just Big Birds imaginary friend....no one saw Mr. Snuffalupagus but Big Bird.......Much to my surprise now everyone knows him....Wow! when did that change?????
My son claims that everyone always could see Mr. Snuffalupagus.....I say "NOT!!"
What do you say???
I refuse to trust a 6 year old on this one.....

My favorites used to be:
Jem
Smurfs
Maya the Bee
Pinwheels (okay, so not exactly a cartoon)
The Little Prince
And what's the one where it was a town full of little people with pointy hats? The daddy used to ride around on a fox named Swift.. please help me.
My favorites now:
Arthur
The Proud Family - This show is SO hilarious to me. Suga Mama reminds me of my own grandmother, and I like trying to place the voices.
