Lets say you dig on someone...

How do you get them to notice you in THAT way?

Say you like this girl. I'll use my good friend Cream for example. (because I am notorious for using fellow GC'ers names in place of those in my real life situations.) Anyway, lets say that ktsnake has known Cream all through college. ktsnake even remembers when Cream was a lowly freshman (how could our girl ever be called lowly?) Ktsnake and Cream were friends, and sort of ran in the same circle, had the occasional class together, whatever.

Anyway, about a year or two ago, ktsnake begins to notice Cream on a different level. He sees how cool she is, how funny, sweet, kind, intellegent, loyal and smart she is. He then begins to wonder what it would be like to date Cream. He never lets her know what he thinks, because she is always dating another guy or really busy with school or work. He is also afraid to mess up their friendship. But yet he cant shake his crush for her.

Well, they both graduate, but stay in the same town and still rin in the same circle, just with all their graduated friends. Ktsnake confides his thoughts on the subject to their good friend, (whom we'll call Arya - who also hangs out in their group) three weeks ago, but Arya tells ktsnake to take it slow, because he suspects it might startle cream and push her away. He tells ktsnake to take it easy and just let things develop naturally. Our boy ktsnake understands and agrees. After a while, he just kind of gives up on the idea.

Well, in the last few days ktsnake hears a few encouraging remarks on the subject. First that our girl Cream is ready to start dating again, and secondly, would like a guy who coincidentally matched the very charasterics of ktsnake. Arya, of course speaks up for ktnsnake in an indirect way. Mentioning that there are people in their circle of friends who fit that bill, and wouldnt it to be great if the one she seeks was in front of her all the while?

so my issue is this. How does ktsnake work it? I am thinking a slow, cautious approach would work best, with subtle hints thrown in. Time is ktsnakes ally here. I am thinking an approach of always being around Cream and helping her and being a really good friend would work in ktsnakes favor, and is the approach needed. I firmly believe that they would make a great couple for each other and they could make each other happy. So any suggestions. ktsnake just mentioning his feelings to cream is not an option, because it would indeed, scare her off. Its just the way shes built.

So what do ya'll think?


Edited to add that I noticed that this was post #1733 for me, and IT JUST SO HAPPENS that 1733 is 'Creams' apartment number. Fate? I dunno.....
