Sigma Nu Iota Mu - ever think of coming back to UNLV?

Hello to the gentlemen of Sigma Nu here at GC. I'm an Alpha Xi Delta from the Iota Epsilon Chapter at UNLV and, seeing as you gentlemen are our brother fraternity what with the history and all, I checked out your national site and noticed that there was a Sigma Nu chapter here back in the day: Iota Mu. You gentlemen got your charter in 1975 apparently. For whatever reason (I'm going to guess numbers going down), that chapter was closed. Well, being an AXiD at UNLV, I would really like to see a Sigma Nu chapter brought back to campus. If your nationals are thinking of expansion, I think it would be great to consider UNLV. We're still a growing Greek community.
That having been said, if any of you gentlemen are ever up in Vegas, feel free to say hello to the Iota Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta. I hope all you gentlemen have a good one.

Opal, the recruitment/expansion team has been pretty busy lately. I think we've already installed/reinstalled 3 new chapters this year alone. Founded just one colony though.

If ya'll are that interested in having SN back the only thing I could think of to get HQ's attention would be to help some guys form an interest group and get in touch with our HQ. That's how one of our more recently installed chapters at Longwood College in Virginia got started.

I'll tell you that from what I've seen they're pretty conservative on their growth lately. And on a sidenote we were just installed last year and the AXiD's at the University of Central Oklahoma were a huge help!
