Dancers on GC?

Anyone involved on Dance Team or Dance Club at their school?

I am in our club, W&L Dance. We have a show tomorrow!

I have been dancing since I was 7!

I have a BFA in dance and was a member of our dance society "Orchesis" and also a member in the University's touring dance company. I was on the dance team in college for a year. But I got too busy with sorority and the dance major so I gave it up.

And docetboy, just an fyi, you say "merde" to dancers.
It's "s*it" in French. Good luck is bad luck in the theatre, and you never want to wish a dancer "Break a leg"!!!

I was on drill team in high school. Some people refer to R.O.T.C. as drill team, but at my school drill team was the dance team. We did everything like tap, jazz, lyrical, novelty- it was awesome! I was historian my junior year and now have lifetime memories. My director was named Director of the Year this year. I just came back from the annual spring show they put on. Their costumes were sooo pretty!! I miss those days, now I want to get involved in some kind of dance class. It kept me in shape, and really the only form of exercise that I enjoy.

I love dance!!

i've been dancing since i could walk...nearly...
i mainly focused on ballet, but i started to take jazz, hip-hop, and lyrical classes about 5 years ago. i've been hired to dance at art gallery openings and intermission events around the local area, so that's pretty cool.
i was in colorguard in high school .... (the colorguard at my school WAS the dance team because our instructor was so hugely involved with dance....*xo_kathy- she was a member of Orchesis too!* so we always had incredibly "dance-y" shows.)
i started to learn "musical theater" dance styles when i started singing and performing in shows...and now that's basically what i do!

I'm not on the dance team at UCF, but I've danced for 16 years. Mostly ballet, although I've done some tap, jazz, clogging, and acrobatics.

I miss dancing...haven't done it since I started college!
