Spin-off of the "Worst Trends"

I've decided that we as GCer's need to come up w/ a comprehensive list of "What Not to Wear/Do" I'll start.
1. If you are a healthy size 18, great. Just don't go around thinking that you're a 4.
2. If you look dirty and unkempt, don't be surprised if people roll their eyes at you and don't respect you. And no I don't give a isht if your jeans did cost $100. You look like hell.
3. If you're doing/wearing something only because your friends are, you shouldn't.
4. If you don't work out and you are out of shape, don't dress in skimpy clothes. I don't want to see the fat on the back of your arms hanging over your elbows (I swear I've seen it)
5. If your skirt or shorts have more material horizontally than vertically, don't wear them.
6. If I wanted to see your undies I'd ask you back to my place to get nekkid. This goes for guys and girls.
7. If you want to talk on your cell at a restaurant or theater, don't. I didn't pay only to hear you talk about your pathetic life. Go home.

Just a start. And I feel better now.

Wow, you covered a lot of them, but let me see if I can come up with some more...

8.) No one looks good in colored leather pants. No one.

9.) Tapered trousers are the devil's tool. Why wear something that deliberately accents your thighs?

10.) Toes, when exposed to the world, should either be completely painted (i.e. no chips) or completely bare.

11.) Ladies, if you're well-endowed, don't be afraid to show a little cleavage. Do be afraid of wearing a turtleneck - it'll just make you look fat.

I'm going to have to disagree with the tapered pants one. Not because I wear them, but because whether tapered is in or not is a fashion moment, not a universal. (Unlike chipped toenail polish.)

Back, uh, a few years when tapered pants were in, we'd see older photos of people in straight-leg jeans or bell-bottoms and go, "Eeew! People's legs aren't really shaped like that. They look so dumb. They look like Popeye with huge calves."

However, for the moment, I would advise against wearing something as untrendy as tapered pants. Just wait enough years though, and I bet all of us on here will be sporting them.

If you are in your 30's don't wear jr butterfly clips in your hair and short shorts-- it looks trashy.
Also body glitter is not very cool -- I have pics of me and now I no longer wear body gliter. a shimmer lotion is good though(most guys don't like glitter anyway)
Socks with sandles still isn't cool
Remember just because the outfit looked good on a celebrity DOES not mean it will look good on you!
