Some people REALLY have too much spare time on their hands. *giggles* I wonder if dopnating money to peep research (read=sampling them) could be considered philanthropic?

Okay, I give up, what is the Karo syrup for?

You might know know (gee, I hope I remember this correctly, lol). Karo is made in (or used to be made or used to be owned originally by someone in) Cairo, Georgia (K-ro not to be confused to KI ro, Egypt.) Whatever, I still don't like it.

It's corn syrup, the basic building block of most candies, including Marshmallow Peeps. Karo Light and red food coloring is used to simulate blood in the movies because of its realistic 'look and feel'.

My favorite part of Easter... PEEPS

Since I can remember my best friend and I have a tradition.

One package of Peeps
One package of paper plates
One microwave

You take a peep and place it on a PAPER (not styrofoam) plate and place in the microwave. Press start and watch the Peep grow to an AMAZING size!

Yes we are both 21 and still get a kick out of doing this every Easter, this year we even trained he little sister who is 5
