Position Announcement—Chapter Services Representative
Alpha Gamma Delta, an international fraternity for women dedicated to academic excellence, leadership, high ideals and sisterhood, announces the opening of a Chapter Services Representative (CSR) position at its International Headquarters in Indidnapolis, Indiana.
Job Summary:
As a member of the Chapter Services Team, a Chapter Services Representative is expected to promote the continual progression of service rapport with collegiate and alumnae members and volunteers. This employee monitors chapters’ needs through written and oral communication as well as processing requests, membership eligibility cases and membership records. The CSR is required to be articulate, precise and friendly. The CSR works closely with other team members to generate new ideas.
Duties & Responsibilities:
§ Administer all membership information, including new member cards, initiations and collegiate chapter reports for an assigned group of collegiate chapters and preserves communication with collegiate chapters regarding any concerns related to such information.
§ Serve as a resource for collegiate chapters and volunteers regarding chapter operations and membership information.
§ Input, monitor and revise member information in Fraternity database.
§ Compile and evaluate collegiate membership statistics regarding chapter membership, recruitment and scholarship achievement and report the information to various volunteers and Headquarters’ staff.
§ Process membership eligibility cases as appropriate.
§ Coordinate the compilation of collegiate chapter profile information, manage the project as well as distribute pertinent correspondence to volunteers as needed.
§ Process the purchase of Fraternity badges and communicate with the vendor as appropriate.
§ Review and distribute chapter minutes, reports and information for assigned collegiate chapters.
§ Conduct general filing and other clerical duties as needed.
§ Serve as an active participant on the Chapter Services Team by attending bi-weekly team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
Candidate’s Qualifications
§ Possesses a positive, creative, team-oriented attitude.
§ Customer service experience preferred.
§ Some college experience required.
§ Exposure to Microsoft office suite and data entry.
§ Interest in working with collegians in a supportive and enthusiastic capacity.
§ Articulate written and oral communication skills.
§ Ability to manage several projects at once, follow through with tasks and work independently.
