Arya's commentary on X-2
Great movie. This sequqal was better then the original. I must say, Nightcrawler is exactly as I would've thought, being a comic book dork that I am. Nice cameo experience by Gambit (though you just herd his name) Beast (well, hims as a normal McCoy without the hair) Colosus (very very cool when he converted into steel), etc. The acting is good, effects amazing, and the plot very nice and it move quickly so there wasn't much boredamn.
Bottom line: Arya give this movie a 4 smack in the arses with two finger up his nose.

4 fingers in the arse, huh?
Stellar movie, much much better than the first. The plot's open to go anywhere now.

I thought the movie was very good. Hugh Jackman and the guy who turned into steel - very hot!!! Much better than the first!

I really want to see it - I was iffy about seeing the first one, but really liked it.
If the second is better, I'm all for it.

Just saw it here at a theater in San Francisco...
The scene where Iceman, Pyro, Rogue, and Wolverine were at Iceman's house was very funny...It was almost like he was coming out!!! ("...Mom, Dad, I have something to tell you..."). The audience laughed, especially when his mother said "...Son, have you tried not being a mutant?..." "It's not a choice" someone shouted, and the entire theater laughed!
I guess that the basic premise is that people are different, and Magneto (the always great Sir Ian McKellen...does he EVER have a bad performance?) says basically to Pyro that he should be proud of who he is and that he is special. I can't wait to more of you see it, because I really want to talk more about X-Men 3 (there has to be another), and about Jean Grey (if you follow the comic book, you'll know why!).
P.S.: Rebecca Romjin-Stamos (Mystique) ROCKS!

I finally saw it last night. Definately better than the first (which I also enjoyed tremendously)!
Nightcrawler was *perfect*. And as much as I enjoy Hugh Jackman, I was happy that we saw a lot more of the other X-Men this time around.
And thanks Arya for naming Colosus, because my friend and I could not remember his name all night & it was driving us crazy!
I'll be amazed if there's not an X-Men 3 within the next year or two. And as long as they KEEP THE ORIGINAL CAST I think it will be amazing!

I saw it last night and I really liked it. I am not really into those types of movies, but I think its really neat how everyone has their own special powers.
My dad kept saying that Jean will come back as like a water mutant or something, hehe

I cannot wait to see Xmen 3 - what an ending. I thought Alan Cummings did an amazing job as Nightcrawler . As usual Cyclops was super annoying.
