Question College Panhellenic

Well, tried doin a search but didn't come up with anything useful....

I am a member of the advisory board for my chapter and one thing i'm encouraging them to do is form a college panhellenic association. It's been disbanded for around 4 years or more (it disappeared the semester after I was initiated).

Anyway, I'm emailing the Presidents of both NPC groups (there are only 2 and no locals...that we know about). They are both interested in the idea but don't really know what it's all about...and neither do I.

All we know is that it is the main body that works on formal recruitment...but neither group is interested in reinstituting formal as of yet (it did not work on our campus, and one of the groups has permission from their International not to participate in formal). I know that there is more to it than this though.

I have checked out NPC's website, and in the past I've read the greenbook, but I was just wondering if any of you have suggestions or advice. If your panhellenics have websites that would be good to, so i'd be able to show the girls...

One of the NPC groups presidents is on greekchat too, so I'm sure she'll be looking at this thread too...

I think the women just want an idea about Panhellenic before we contact an area advisor, or ask the Panhellenic advisor from another school to drop by...

Thanks!
Jen
