Rush Workweek
My chapter is in the middle of Rush workweek. It's very structured. Every hour is scheduled! We have LC Megan here to advise us on everything! How long is everyone's workweek like? Is it very detailed?

Yep, it's getting ready for recruitment. Practicing songs, skits, preparing the skit room, etc.

Our workweek starts on a Monday and goes through that Friday. And, its the same thing. Everything is structured. We have to run through each night, do a fashion show to make sure everyone is wearing the right clothes, convesation topics, songs, etc. all that fun stuff. Fun stuff!!

We recieved a "gift" of goodies (like candy) from another sorority and it had "Alpha Gamma Delta" and our letters on it- except the Gamma was upside down! UGH!! What idiots! Do you think it was intentional? :P

What a cute idea to support other greek houses...the gamma upside down probably wasn't intentional, but ya never know!!! We had a mixer with one of the fraternities and got a thank you card from them and said, "to the ladies of alpha delta gamma" totally unintentionally. But, to this day, we haven't let him live it down.

We have an informal officers' meeting this Monday and I think we're going to start working on some simple crafts.
Our work week starts on August 25, which is kind of scary because it's 2 days before Fall semester starts. However, it's the only time we could get since so many of our members aren't flying back until the 23rd.
We have our first event on the 30th...and that's a welcome back organizational fair. Recruitment for us doesn't start until September 10th with Bid Night on the 17th.

Hey! We are already in our work week it started today! I am VPR This year but it is wonderful.. we have Tiffany Green here and she is also so wonderful and helpful!! I cannot type much (so much to be done!) Rush starts next Wednesday.. please pray for Theta Iota!! I hope that we have a great rush!! I know we can and I know we will do wonderfully!! Love you all!!
