Alpha Iota - Pitt Chapter

Ladies, I've been wanting to post this for a while, but my life has been terribly hectic!

The ADPi sisters had an Open House a few weekends ago, and it was simply lovely! One of the alumnae wanting to revive the Alumnae Association spoke to us at the Student Union, after which we all visited the Suite.

The Suite has undergone the beginnings of the redecorating process, courtesy of furniture from the Ohio State Chapter (Alpha Xi?). The change from two years ago (the 150th Anniversary celebration) is amazing!! The Suite is more up to date and sister friendly - only small changes (paint, carpeting on the Formal side, and rearranging) are needed.

Fellow Alumnae, remember the "bingo hall surplus" folding chairs? They are GONE, and replaced with cherry wood & padded seat folding chairs!! That alone is a huge victory!

Not only that, but every sister to whom I spoke was someone I am genuinely proud to call my sister - what a bright and vivacious group of women!

I am honestly crushed that I'll be out of town for Jewel Degree - it's my favorite of the ADPi ceremonies. Please know that a few of us are working on what we can do to provide those extra touches. You've worked hard, and it certainly shows!

Love and Loyally,
honeychile

ps - any alumna who is interested in helping out the suite, please pm me.
