I just have to brag a little about Iota Sigma at VA's Zeta Day. I would have made that the title of the thread, but I know that there are some GMU Zetas on here. (Hi Melissa!!!

)
Iota Sigma (208th Link ~ Old Dominion University) had an awesome Zeta Day this year...We won Most Improved Chapter, received a quota bowl, had a sister win the Laverne P. Skipper award for seniors (third year in a row an Iota Sigma has won it) and....
DRUM ROLL PLEASE!
WE WON THE SONG PADDLE!!!!
We sang "American ZTA" to the tune of Lenny Kravitz's "American Woman" but managed to bring the house down when the five sisters who stepped earlier in the week with Zeta Phi Beta came front and center to show off their stepping talents. It was so awesome!
There were so many awesome sisters, collegiate and alumnae there. I had so much fun! I finally got to meet Melissa after all this time talking on Greekchat and AIM.

To top it all off, next year, Zeta Day is going to be held here by the Tidewater Alumnae. I can't wait!!!
How were other state's Zeta Days? What do you do at them? Are they one day or two? I would love to hear about them.
Okay, I will stop rambling now....SORRY! Just excited, I guess.
Zeta love,
Meredith \^^^/
PS - GMU won some awards also, but I don't remember which ones. They also had Greek Sing right afterwards. Melissa ~ how did ya do?

(I am sorry we couldn't stay to cheer you on!)
