I need some Phi Sig Support!!

Hey everyone

I know I'm new here still...but I kinda need some support from my sisters out there. My boyfrined of almost 2 years and I broke up over the weekend and I'm a mess! We're trying to sort it out but I don't know if it can be sorted--long history of issues etc.

So if you can just keep me in your thoughts everyone that would mean a lot to me--I haven't really slept or ate in a few days so I'm kind of dragging!

I know it's hard, but try to not think about it and concentrate on other things in your life. Get really involved in your chapter and start working out really hard core. Not only will you feel better about yourself, but you will also make that ex-boyfriend of yours jealous b/c he let go of someone so hot! Best wishes to you...you'll be alright in the end.

Im sorry to hear about your recent breakup, i've been there...almost in the same sorta situation b/c i dated a boy for 2 yrs. too, but we were much younger. Keep yourself surrounded with people you care about and who care about you, and writing also helps! Dont get down on yourself if you mess up or skip a class or whatever....but dont use it as a crutch....(i always tend to do that) I dont know what else to say except that im thinking about you and sending some *hugs* to you!!

Btw, im from Michigan too...where abouts are ya? Im at CMU

You'll be in my prayers. I went through that two years ago and never would have made it without my friends and my sisters. Just keep really busy is all I can suggest. And if you feel like crying or screaming do it don't keep all the hurt, anger, and grief inside.

I know how it feels...it's happened to me too...I've never quite got to the 2 yr mark... last time we broke up 2 days before our 2 yr anniversary....
My sisters were there for me (although i had to make 4 phone calls before i could find one at home ) and they helped me through it. I still wonder about him sometimes, i haven't dated since, but I know i'm over him and i am happy being single (gives me more time with my sisters!)

So hang in there, the pain will go away! trust me things will get better!

Thank you so much for all the well wishes....we're talking now to see if we can work things out, which is a good thing!!

I wish that I could just skip class and see my sisters, but I'm alum, so that's not really an option--although I would find it very helpful!

Just keep sending those good thoughts my way and I will hopefully have good news to report!!

Hi! Its good to hear you are talking things out with the Boy. Like White Chocolate, I am not very good with guy advice either.
I say the same thing (F* 'em!) which I am sure not applicable in your case. I did though heard a quote today that I really liked. Maybe it can help you now that you two are talking.
