Post Question on BGLO origin

If I'm out of line, let me know. I don't know much about your organizations. I was just wondering why you have Greek letters. From what I gather, BGLO's are based on Egyptian history right? I'm not trying to find out what anything stands for, I was just wondering if there was a reason for this? Was it just because the existing fraternities had Greek letters? I would just think if they were based on Egyptian history, they would have Egyptian or African names. Again, no disrespect meant here, just curious. Thanks!

Its better that you read some of the basic information on our (and your greek system) origins yourself. Its very enlightening. http://www.geocities.com/~alphamunu/mnafricanroots.html

It think that site should hopefully answer your questions.

Its really funny how members of the IFC/Panhellenic/NPHC and other greek orgs don't know that they're all "related". The fundamental design of a "secret" society comes from the same source (Egypt, one of the oldest societies in the World). That includes Masonry (FreeMasonry, etc.) and Order of the Eastern Star. Greek love to ALL Greek Orgs in the World.

'06 out.

Peace & Blessings
You might also want to read Stolen Legacy by George G. M. James.
In the book, he tells of how the Greeks could not understand the the Egyptian language and how they created this alphabet in order to communicate with the Greek visitors/students, who later became thieves of Egyptian knowledge.
So, what we call the Greek alphabet is often referred to lower case Egyptian.

**Corbin Dallas, you were not out of line with your question, it was presented very well
