Talking Rain!!!!!!

Can someone be so happy that it is raining!

The answer is a resounding YES!!!!!!!

It has not rained in Kansas City for spit the past 9 months! The ponds are more like mud puddles. The Lakes of which there are a lot are down 6-9 feet! Thses are some pretty big lakes!

Now it is pouring, lightening and thundering, raining cats and dogs is the phrase.

If not lightening, I think I would go out and run bare asssed nekkid like I used to do in College! But of course it is not as pretty a sight as it was back then! Cant run as fast either><!

Beleive me, it may not be a big deal to some, but ask the KC area GCers who have been here a while!

OT OH, light flikering, not a good sign!

I love rain!

It makes me sleep much better, though it makes it harder to get up in the morning if it is still raining.

It's supposed to start raining again here this weekend. Yay!

It's supposed to rain this weekend, but the last few times I've heard that. it's been so hot and sunny we've gone to the beach.

Tom...It rained like a month ago!!! What are you talking about...I saw all the pictures in the Star about Southwest Boulevard flooding and that type of stuff.

Other than that, it's good that it's raining. Gives my parents one less thing to complain about

My friends in Manhatten tell me that it's raining out there which is even better as they need more rain out west than KC does!

I love big thunderstorms, but only with a warm rain...b/c then I can open the door at home and look out and watch. Haven't seen a good storm in quite some time

What???? It did not rain here a month ago---maybe sprinkled--but not rain!!!

We had alot of pea size hail over here on my side of town!! There are piles of it by the front door and the gutter run off things!!!!
I love listening to the thunder and lightning!!! Just wish it would have been later in the evening, so I could have laid in bed, open the blinds, and fallen asleep watching out the window.

Anyway, the weather guy (channel 4) said that tonight storm will be nothing compared to this weekend!!!! Spring weather has arrived according to Mike Thompson!!! Hopefully the weatherman is correct. And 75 degrees on Friday--- and didn't we have ice coevering everyting this time last week??? Ahhh--Missouri/Kansas weather!!!

March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb...

Fast approaching April, which was my favorite month in Kansas.
The air was so crisp and clean. Almost like being able to smell the snow melting. Ahhhhhhhh-I miss that.
