Talking How do YOU feel...........

I have to ask the male opinion.....

How do you feel when your mate talks about your relationship to others?

Better yet, What about when they talk to another man about it?

Cool

I see where this question CAN GO; however, I feel good when my woman announces to other men that she is happily involved in a relationship with me. If I'm doin' it right, and she's doin' it right; it's all good.

TOA, that's a mature response...

What would you say about a man who abhors the thought of his woman discussin' ANYTHING with others??
I.E.
... Oh yeah, me and My man went to see that...
OR
... My man doesn't eat pork either!....

What if this woman's man, GOES off on her for making comments of any sort to anyone, b/c he says he doesn't want people up in his bizness?? What then?

Novella000,

I understand where your coming from because my boyfriend has these same feelings. I try to respect it but sometimes it is hard because some of the things that I tell to other people are so trivial to me, but when he finds out he gets upset. I don't get why some guys are so personal. To me if your doing what you have to do in the relationship then you won't have to worry about what your mate maybe discussing because you know that she is happy and she will only be telling the other person positive things.

Now, about talking to someone of the opposite sex about problems in the relationship is unhealthy. I 've tried this and usually the dude is on your side because he has underlying desires so he may not give good advice.

HG, I feel ya'. Telling someone about our issues is one thing, but dang, can't I speak as though he exists? I no longer have this problem ( ), but when I did it was irritating. I realize now that his problem with me talking about "us" EVER (even the most TRIVIAL of things) was only a sprout of a bigger problem. But I would like to know WHY the HECK that 'ism even exists... If eveyone did that, no one would ever have anything to talk about.

IMHO, there is nothing wrong with "Girl, yeah, My Man and I went there last week, it was fun!" ... But there is a problem with "Girl, my man doesn't satisfy my needs" ... that's something he and I should only discuss.

I don't care if my girl discusses me as long as she can also communicate with me. Some women are able to talk to their friends about problems in their relationship but find it difficult to disscuss the matter with their partner. I don't want everyone else to know what's going on with my relationship when I'm not even aware.

I agree with you Professor. It's just that I've noticed how some males feel uncomfortable when there is any type of discussion.
